It’s basically the last chance for Clermont to save their season regarding promotion to the top flight. For a long stretch, they were serious contenders—until they went on this run of draws and losses that allowed Troyes and Rems to leapfrog them. Now those teams have a two-point cushion, but since Clermont is facing one of them tonight, there's a window to overtake them if the result swings their way... As for the home side, they're sitting at 19th, five points behind Le Havre. If Clermont folds here, they really won't have anyone to blame for missing out on the first division next season. It'll be entirely on them.
Anyway! The visitors are missing their captain Jcques Salze after picking up a red card in last week's loss to Angers, and G Loriot is also suspended for the away side.

The odds in the HL are actually quite solid—looking at how others are pricing this, you’d expect something closer to 1.75 or 1.85... I'm anticipating a lot of tension tomorrow. It's no secret that Chelsea plays with that classic English aggression and lots of fouls, while the Barca players aren't afraid to go down easy—it’s tough to mark them without committing a foul. I expect the nerves to get the better of them, and the ref will likely be under plenty of pressure too... he might play it a bit strictly given what happened three years ago when Barca managed to get past Chelsea...
I'm with you on this one... over at the local sportsbook, the line is set at 4.5 with the over/under sitting at 1.8... Total nonsense.
