Is it worth sticking with a team that keeps losing its soul?

I’ve been a die-hard fan of my local squad for over a decade, and lately, I’m hitting this wall where I just don't recognize them anymore. It’s not even about the win/loss column at this point; it’s the vibe. One year they’re the gritty underdogs everyone loves, and the next, they’re just a collection of expensive talent that seems to have forgotten why they even play together.
It’s honestly exhausting to follow a team that undergoes a complete identity crisis every time the pressure ramps up. You start the season thinking, "This is our year, we finally have a culture," and then suddenly, by mid-season, it feels like everyone is playing for their own stats rather than the jersey. It makes you wonder if certain rosters are fundamentally broken from the start, or if the constant roster shuffling just prevents any real chemistry from ever taking root.
When a team hits a crossroads like this, do you think it's better to pull the trigger on a massive shake-up to find a new direction, or is it better to stay the course and hope the existing core eventually clicks?
