I just have one question: what are the actual symptoms of this condition? I've been struggling quite a bit for about a year now. I get this dull ache in my liver area, my iron levels are high, and both my Hgb and red blood cell counts are sitting right at the upper limit. I tire out so easily, I feel weak all the time, my skin is incredibly dry, my heart races, and my PMS is absolutely brutal! Could any of this be linked to hemochromatosis? If so, which tests should I look into getting done?

I could really use some advice. My doctor thinks I’m dealing with depression, but my gut is telling me there might be an underlying physical cause triggering it. My red blood cell count and hemoglobin levels are both elevated, and I've been feeling pain in my liver area since before I even started treatment, which is why I'm getting suspicious about the diagnosis. I also had some blood work done a few days ago showing high iron levels, and on top of all that, my PMS symptoms have been absolutely brutal lately. What should my next move be?
