It’s me again. I had my surgery last Monday, as I mentioned in my previous post, but I just noticed today that the area is starting to swell up.

Hey everyone, I’ve got a bit of a mess on my hands. I broke my ulna bone halfway through, and for the first six weeks, I was stuck in a long arm cast. For about four of those weeks, they had me in a humerus cast, which seemed fine based on the X-rays. But then, instead of sticking with the upper arm cast, they switched me over to a circular cast down to my elbow. And man, things went south fast. The last scan after that six-week stretch showed everything was misaligned—it wasn't healing straight at all. So, I ended up having surgery to get a titanium plate installed. Does anyone have any insight into how this recovery works? It feels like I'm right back at square one, except now I can barely move my fingers. When I was just in the original cast, I could move them just fine. Right now, my arm instinctively wants to stay bent at the elbow, tucked against my stomach. Is that normal? What should I be expecting from here on out? Thanks.
