For me, the standout moment has to be that highway head-on collision scene. It doesn't even rattle our hero; if anything, he’s already calculated the whole thing and casually tossed the villains into the back of his van 😁 And using a sock as a makeshift hat... Honestly, I was pretty shaken up at the start of the movie, but once it got going, I had a blast.
I ended up feeling pretty disappointed. Given the caliber of this cast, I was really expecting something more substantial than just a mediocre romance about a queen dealing with some late-blooming teenage angst.
I just finished watching this movie and I have to say, it was easily one of my worst cinema experiences to date... it was honestly painful, and I’m really not that picky when it comes to action flicks. Agent 47 is uninspired, bland, and absolutely loaded with clichés; the plot is mindless and feels completely disjointed. It was just a total disaster 👎
I caught it last night, and I have to agree with the "fun" ratings being thrown around here. To be honest, I was hoping for something a bit more substantial, but it is what it is... just over two hours of aimless wandering punctuated by a few genuinely great performances.
I thought the movie was pretty solid, though I have to admit I’m probably biased because I’ve been dying to see it like any true fan of the original 🙂. I heard rumors that a third installment is already in the works—actually, that they might be nearing completion—so I was wondering if anyone here knows anything more about that... when do you think we might see a third part hitting theaters here in the States?
Flash Gordon... That movie was such a phenomenon to me when I was a kid. I actually rewatched it about a month ago, and honestly? I’d definitely put it in my list of genre classics, but watching it again really made me realize how much my perspective has shifted over the years. 🙂
I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but I was planning to until a friend told me the movie is incredibly dull and people were practically walking out of the theater in droves during the screening...
