Honestly, I’m still sitting here thinking about how Lindsey Vonn is just straight-up better than Mikaela Shiffrin today 🙂 😁

And man, I just can't help myself—I gotta bring up Bode Miller for a second 😍
The absolute legend 🙏 🙏 🙏

Man, oh man, this is absolutely killer news! 🙂 I am seriously stoked for you, Dea 🙂
I'm totally jumping in on the celebration—cheers to everyone, may we all live to see another hundred years! 😁 🙂 🙂 🙂 👋 🙂

Dea, we’re all reading your posts and thinking about you—honestly, just counting down the days until Friday... how long does it usually take for the results to come back after an appointment at Eljuga?

My mom actually went in for her biopsy yesterday, so she won't get her results until this Friday.
I'm totally paralyzed by fear right now, I can't even bring myself to think about anything bad happening; I'm just hoping—really, really hoping—that everything turns out okay. 🙂

Hang in there, Dea. Just try to get through these next few days so you can finally relax and just breathe easy again. Everything is going to be fine. 🙂 👋

Hey Dea, I’m sending you so much strength and honestly just all the luck in the world—I really hope everything turns out okay 🙂 🙂

I just went through these exact same nerve-wracking weeks myself—well, actually, I'm still dealing with it with my Mom (it's been five years since her surgery)—and for now, the results look fine, though we have to go back and redo them in a few weeks

It’s going to be alright, seriously, just stay strong Dea—we're all rooting for you 🙂

So, I guess I totally missed the mark on the topic here?

Gerald Barrett25, look, everything you just typed out—it wasn't even what I was going for with my post. Like you said yourself, if this weren't funny, it would actually be pretty pathetic.

I feel like we're talking about two completely different things at this point, so I’m probably just gonna bail on this argument before it goes any further.
Peace.

Man, you sure are making a lot of assumptions about me not being an academic—it's written right there, isn't it? 🙄

Look, I don't know about you guys, but it feels like most of your replies are actually talking about formal film school training rather than what driftingowl27... was getting at.

The core concepts of cinema are still tucked away in textbooks and elementary school curricula; it’s just a whole different story how much they actually touch on them in practice. Such a shame.

Back when we were at the Academy (NO! Not ADA), 😉 we took one course that covered the basics of film theory and the historical framework, and honestly, it was easily one of my favorite classes. 👍
Anyway, it's a huge part of general culture. It really ought to be offered as an elective in schools—I bet a ton of kids would actually be into it.

Yeah, right—so I show up five minutes late and suddenly the whole damn place is flooded with threads... one second there's absolutely nothing happening, and then boom, it’s total chaos! Just my luck, I guess!

Ugh, seriously?! Why do I always end up wandering into the middle of nowhere every single time... 🙄
Just finished watching Ice Age and now I'm heading straight to bed!
