Yeah, by the way—has anyone else here heard of BIOCIL? I think it’s a medication from Mexico that’s supposed to help patients dealing with really aggressive forms of cancer.

Thanks for getting back to me! My dad is dealing with lung cancer—he finished 6 cycles of Gemzar, but honestly, it didn't seem to be doing much. He recently developed a metastasis in his kidney, so he had one round of radiation and now he's supposed to start Taxol. That's why I'm asking—does anyone know what the side effects are like, or how well it actually works? Is it pretty effective?

My dad is actually about to start Taxol, so if you’ve learned anything new since we last spoke—or if your mom has already gone through her chemo rounds—would you mind sharing an update?
