I haven't been around, hasn't been... This thread just totally died out on me. I don't know how you guys even... As for me, I haven't...
I honestly feel like this whole thing is stuck in my head. It’s not really about the weight itself, but something else weighing on my soul that’s just blocking any real progress 👎 No matter how hard I push, I can't get there... I'm dealing with this pretty uncomfortable family situation, but I really don't want to go there—I don't want to write about it—though maybe that's exactly what I should be doing. They say you can't conquer fear until you look it right in the eye, but I'm stubbornly refusing because I'm terrified the consequences would be too much to handle. Too heavy!
I catch myself wondering why it's always the descendants who have to pay the price for the ghosts of the past. For almost 10 years, I've kept it together even when people warned me that the fallout would eventually catch up to me—that I'd finally feel all the weakness I should have shown a long time ago. Instead, I played the role of Saint Peter, acting as everyone else's rock when I was actually the one who needed a foundation to lean on. All that suppressed stuff has turned into complications that probably need radical surgery to fix! My God, I feel like spears are snapping in my chest, it hurts...
I started this thread because I wanted to be honest with you all, totally transparent, but I'm failing at it. I see how much effort you guys have put into trying to help me through things, but if I told you the full story, I honestly think even you guys would give up on me. In other words, I'm scared to be who I really am 😢
I've tried so hard. Even my future mother-in-law bought me a stationary bike just to help me out, yet I lose 3 or 4 pounds and then within just 4 days, it all comes right back—and I wasn't even overeating!!! How is that even possible? Someone please tell me 🙂 you 😢
Everything is just becoming exhausting. It feels insurmountable, like I'm trapped in this endless loop and I just can't break through!
The life I'm living is so complicated. People demand so much from me—patience, attention—but from the outside, everything looks absolutely perfect. I don't want to let people in, I don't want to burden anyone. I just want to tackle this on my own again because talking (or writing) about it just makes me feel sick and embarrassed!
To stick to a diet, you need a calm spirit and a centered soul, and I just cannot reach that state right now. I've leaned into the esoteric side of things; I believe in a lot of stuff that most people would call nonsense, but I've experienced it firsthand and I BELIEVE!
Oh my God, how do I get out of this hole?!?!?!
Hey everyone... some days just hit different. There are days when
I just want to disappear because nothing feels right and my mind starts drifting through these dark, empty spaces.
That was me the day before yesterday... Honestly, I felt like I was losing my mind!!! I spent my entire teenage years obsessed with the scale (and honestly, I’m still not even that far 😉 ), and to make matters worse, I have a mom who people constantly mistake for my older sister. We’re doing alright now, though—she put on a few pounds, I dropped a few...
I remember going shopping together back then; I’d be hiding in the men's section grabbing trousers without even trying them on because I was too mortified to let anyone catch a glimpse of me, while my mom would be squeezing into outfits most people would say were way too young for her. I was proud of her, sure... but at the same time, I was absolutely fuming, even though deep down I knew she wasn't the one to blame for the things I was "accusing" her of.
The day before yesterday, it wasn't my mom's fault—it was just everything else in the world. We went out shopping for her because I had decided I wasn't even allowed to buy socks for the next two months. It felt like every single person walking by was "perfect"—girls, women, old ladies, all of them looking snatched in their jeans, tees, blazers, and whatever else. They had odds of being "perfect" that I'd only see if I actually won the Lott (if only 🙏 )
So yeah, that was my day before yesterday—one of those days where everything inside me turns bitter and I can't stop thinking about all the layers of fat and junk sitting on my body. Yeah...
But thank God, those days are becoming fewer and far between, and I'm starting to feel better and better!!!
It’s such a relief to just vent like this... I wish I could completely shake this self-doubt and the constant fear of failing. I'm fighting it, but sometimes the exhaustion hits so hard that everything just looks pitch black.😠
Today isn't exactly one of those amazing days, either 🙂
Man, you guys are really going at it... 👍 Let me give you the quick rundown on the trip. I won't get into family drama, but honestly, everyone there is obsessed with food, even if they aren't overweight—people just work a lot. When you visit, you HAVE TO EAT, whether you want to or not. I was there for two and a half days and I don't regret a single bite. You can't exactly tell a 70-year-old auntie to just whip up some plain chicken breast or she'll send you straight to hell! Even my boyfriend, who is a total foodie himself, said he couldn't take another bite! But the kicker was that after those massive lunches, we didn't eat anything else all day!
Anyway, I’m not stepping on the scale for another week because I set a two-week rule for myself, but I feel and think I haven't gained weight.
Once we got back Sunday night, I jumped right back into the routine I set for myself.
Sam Alvarez29 says I'm being irrational. Okay, fair enough. But hey, Sam, did you consider that when I first started this "diet," my body actually needed a reset?! Out of that 3.5 lbs, I think I truly lost maybe a pound or so, and my next goal is to drop about a pound every two weeks. And the best part? I didn't deprive myself of anything, nor was I starving. Sure, I cut back a little on the oil and cheese and stuff, but that's just how it works, right?! Come on! 😛
About that... thing... the measuring tape... I have an opinion too 😬 brightlynx11, I am so happy you dropped those heavy pounds. I wasn't in quite your shoes, but I know that incredible feeling when you look in the mirror and you aren't standing five feet away from it just to see yourself 😉 I’ve been following your posts, and no offense intended... but it seems like the measuring tape has started calling the shots. I get the impatience, and I might have even cheated a bit once I hit a certain weight—and again, I'm not saying that's bad. But now that you've hit 190 lbs, I don't know how much more you want to lose, so why not ditch the tape and just transition to eating a bit healthier? You aren't, as people say, morbidly obese anymore; you can handle the rest on your own, and it seems like a better way to go.
I mean, seriously, how healthy is it for your body to just have one tiny yogurt every 5 or 6 hours versus living off a single slice of cheesecake all day? That doesn't sound right to me. Maybe for a short burst, but what kind of long-term damage are you doing to your system? I'm asking because nobody else seems to be talking about that... 🙂
So, folks... for the first time in a long time, I don't feel miserable about myself. I'm pushing forward because I can feel the results—more mentally than physically—but that's what matters. The rest will eventually fall into place...
Cheers... 👋
P.S. Laura Davis62, I'm not from some small town in the middle of nowhere 🙂
Hey you lunatics!!! Sam Hughes5 here. Most of my day yesterday was just fruit—not even because I was forcing myself, my body just kind of demanded it 🙂
Heading out to Canada today, ugh... All those amazing pies 😁 Plus, it's peak bell pepper season, so I'll probably be breaking out in hives from all the spice, Hihihihih... 👍
SPECIAL, don't let your heartbreak drive you straight to the fridge, you gotta look out for yourself, girl! 😍
Anyway, I'll check back in on Monday. Fingers crossed for me, and keep the comments coming... 😘
Melissa Perez10, honestly, I don't even know what to tell you about that... I've heard just about everything... 🙂
Charles Kern28, just keep going, girl!!! Don't let your mom get under your skin. Sometimes the people around us just don't get why we do what we do, mostly because they love us and accept us exactly as we are, but a few kind words can fix just about anything 😘 Just say "thank you" to her every single time; eventually, she'll get sick of hearing it... 😉
Hey guys!!! I'm back after a little break. I usually stay quiet on the weekends because I'm away from home, but I'm gonna try to change that. Let me give you a quick rundown of what's been happening lately... 🙂
On Saturday, I headed over to Canada with my boyfriend's mom to make some jam at his aunt's place. We were out picking plums and pears in the morning, so for breakfast, I just grabbed a few plums and half a pear, kept them next to me, and just snacked on them throughout the morning. 😍
Lunch was a bit trickier because I feel super awkward being stingy with food when I'm visiting someone I've only met twice. They served chicken fried in a mountain of oil, fries, and a salad of tomato and cucumber, but I managed to hold my own even though my teeth were practically watering for it. I snagged about four helpings of fries—which I somehow managed to scavenge—and spread them all out across my plate. I ate them one by one, followed by mouthful after mouthful of salad, and honestly, I stuffed myself like a champ, but not enough to be unable to breathe. I was satisfied.
Around 7:00 PM, everyone decided they wanted pizza, so did I. But I ordered a tiny, tiny one, just with tomato sauce and a few mushrooms, and once again, I didn't really feel "full"—more like I overdid it slightly—but I was satiated. After that, we went for a massive hour-and-a-half walk! 👍
Sunday breakfast was oatmeal as usual, lunch was a bit of potato with a tomato and cucumber salad and one chicken wing, and dinner was just a handful of plums.
Yesterday—oatmeal again, then lunch was a salad of potato, tomato, and cucumber with a little boiled meat, and for dinner, I just couldn't resist, so I polished off three pieces of toast with a bit of that famous homemade jam, oops... So go ahead and judge me if you want, but I don't think I overdid it because folks... I LOST 7.7 POUNDS IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO... 🎉
Look, Taylor Walker59, I'm just trying to help her through all of this 🙂
Truth is, I messed up a few times over the last two weeks, but success still knocked on my door. What helped was that after I slipped up, I didn't just give up and spiral into a binge; I just kept going. Before, I would've fallen into a depression and just kept eating because I'd feel like some loser who can't do what they set their mind to, but I'm only human! And that "will of steel" you guys talk about? You have to build that over time. 😉
Guys, we can totally do this!!!!! 😘 😘 😘
Laura Ramirez10, YOU ROCK!!! :klap: At first, I was skeptical about just three tablespoons of cornflakes, but then I realized that combining them with about half a cup of 0.1% milk makes me feel totally full—only I swapped the cornflakes out for oatmeal instead.
stormylynx4, thanks for clearing that up and posting the photo; now I actually know what to grab at the store. 😘 It’s honestly kind of crazy how clueless I can be sometimes, my God, my God...
I am feeling pretty great about how yesterday went. Breakfast was what I mentioned above, then a single peach about two hours later, and for lunch, I had the rest of that amazing kale recipe from stormylynx4 (and here I thought I hated kale 🙂). Later on, I went shopping with my mom, which ended up taking until late at night. I kept a water bottle with me and sipped on it constantly, and honestly, I didn't even feel hungry later, so I skipped eating entirely. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, but since I wasn't craving anything... Before hitting the hay, I went for a thirty-minute walk and knocked out 200 crunches 👍
I've also started keeping a food diary. I really liked how this book mentions a 1200 calorie diet paired with physical activity, obviously 🙂 They break down food using a pyramid, emphasizing fruits and veggies first, followed by carbs, proteins, fats, and of course, sweets, all with balanced ratios. Here is what you're allowed per day:
4 or more servings of vegetables
3 or more servings of fruit
4 servings of carbohydrates
3 servings of protein / dairy
3 servings of fats
So, let me know what you guys think, and if you want to know the specific measurements for one serving, I'll post them for you.
Hey everyone, cheers 😘
Hey everyone, I’m currently hunting for that piece of paper where I scribbled down all those "healthy eating" guidelines 🙂 Mostly, this info came from some woman whose name is totally escaping me right now—for the life of me, I can't remember it 😵 —but she works as a nutritionist for the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee. I got lucky enough to run into her once, and she shared a little story with me.
It was about this Chinese man who came over to play table tennis here. His performance kept dropping and dropping; he saw all sorts of doctors, but his tests always came back fine. So, she asked them what they were feeding him... They started listing off all this healthy stuff: fish, poultry, veggies... But then she hit them with: "Are you guys actually giving him rice?!" Hahahahaha... Basically, the whole thing boils down to the idea that we're supposedly conditioned by our environment, so we should be stuffing ourselves with olive oil, tomatoes, and fish... Hmm... And here I am living right by the coast 😛
I was reading up on the comparison between people living in China versus those living in the US. People in China tend to live much longer and face fewer health issues, even though they actually consume more calories than people in the States—but the catch is they eat way more fiber and significantly less fat. Just something to chew on...
Oh, wait, I just remembered! stormylynx4, you mentioned peeled tomatoes. What exactly do you mean by that? I usually just grab the kind in the carton without any tomato chunks. And what on earth is HELJDA?! Okay, okay, maybe I'm out of the loop, but that's the first I've ever heard of it!!! 🤔 Also, I started a new thread over in Gastronomy—the goal is to make dieting actually fun and tasty, something like that... 🙂
I pulled out my Mayo Clinic book and have been flipping through it yesterday and today, and I gotta say, I'm really digging it. It actually makes total sense! I'll write more about it once I've had a chance to study it a bit more.
Catch ya later... 👋
Thanks!!! Today I whipped up some pasta—about two handfuls' worth—and paired it with eggplant and peppers, plus a little cucumber and tomato salad.
stormylynx4, that kale you mentioned is pure heaven!!! (Yeah, yeah, I know I'm repeating myself... 😵 )
Laura Ramirez10, wait, only 3 tablespoons of cornflakes?!?!?! Oopsy daisy, here I was throwing in 3 massive handfuls 👎
Now comes the hard part: PMS is hitting me hard. I can't tell if it's all in my head or if I've actually convinced myself I need to eat everything in sight, especially sweets, but seriously guys, I am CRAVING IT 🙂 I picked up some diabetic-friendly cookies to help manage the urge, and this afternoon I ended up snacking on 4 of them. They were huge, like little rolls or something, just standard size... Is that a major setback? Also, please let me know—am I allowed to use McCormick? 🙂
I really need to hunt down a mountain of new recipes because I’m clearly off track here. I grew up eating such heavy, intense food, from my grandma's cooking all the way through... Ugh...
I'm trying, I really am. It's probably best if I just 🙂 , hihihihih...
Later! Heading out for a walk in a bit...
Hihihihih, nice one, Bryan Evans19 😁 Hey, about the running thing... I used to be just like you, totally terrified... But I finally forced myself to start at a snail's pace, just jogging as far as I could (like 50 meters) 😎 , then walking, then jogging again whenever I ran out of breath. After two months, I actually managed to finish a route of 1.9 miles without stopping once. I know for all the runners 1.9 miles out there, this probably sounds like nothing worth mentioning, but for me, it was huge—like a whole marathon 👏
When it comes to those aerobic workouts you're doing, keeping an eye on your heart rate is key, though you don't want to reach a point where you aren't feeling any effort at all. The faster your heart pumps, the more calories and fat you burn off... Just make sure you really work up a sweat!!! 🙂 I read somewhere that with cardio, the calorie burning doesn't really kick into high gear until after the thirty-minute mark, because that’s when your body finally warms up enough to start attacking those fat stores. I'm not entirely sure how much truth there is to that, but it sounds logical to me. Maybe try combining those three sessions into one or two? Or maybe instead of counting calories, just set a timer for 15 minutes and see how the burn feels... Anyway, I've gone on a total tangent here, not trying to act like a genius or anything, don't mind me... That's definitely not my style! 🙂
I'm feeling great today, actually. I managed to shake off the guilt because I stopped the manic binge-eating early enough, so things don't look nearly as bleak as they did yesterday!
Cheers, talk later... 👋
I don't know... maybe I'm just overreacting since I've been dealing with all this for years now... Thanks for the support, guys!!!
I just whipped up some kale, and mamma mia, it turned out so good that the whole family is practically fighting over their plates, hehehe... So glad I actually planned ahead for 😛
Anyway, I'm using emojis again, looks like things are looking up.
ironnomad14, I think you're onto something... Why shouldn't we treat ourselves?! Honestly, I only spiraled last night because I ate half a small pizza, whereas before I would've polished off an entire large one. I'm actually making progress, hihihihihi 👍
THANKS YOU GUYS!!! 😘
Yeah, yeah... I’m honestly just laughing at myself at this point!!! Once again, I decided to take a "big leap" and once again, I completely blew it!!! Way to go, me!!! I don't even know how to deal with this anymore when my willpower is basically non-existent.
Everything feels totally pointless right now. I am so done with the constant setbacks and then the massive mood swings that hit immediately after I try to "fix things" with whatever quick fix comes my way!!!
Seriously though, how do you guys actually pull this off?!?!?! Is there even any hope for someone like me?! Why does everything feel ten times harder now than it used to be?! Does anyone even have an answer for that?!
It feels like everyone here has stopped posting too, and I’m left feeling like everyone has just given up on me—and honestly, mostly I've just given up on myself!!!
But look, even though I’m spiraling right now, I think I’ll actually make that kale dish stormylynx4 was talking about for lunch...
I feel terrible, just awful... My period is coming and I honestly feel like I could bite my own head off!!!
ironnomad14, THAT IS JUST TOO MUCH...!!!!!!!!!! 🙏 se
So, Day 4 is officially in the books. Everything is going fine, and looking back at yesterday, I don't think I made too much of a mess of things—though I seriously need to go grab some of that tuna in water. Honestly, cleaning out my pantry and fridge feels just like having to replace my entire wardrobe from scratch. 😉
It’s actually pretty hilarious; my closets are overflowing with clothes, yet here I am, living exclusively in sweatpants. Thank God for summer and elastic waistbands, right? 🙈 But look, I just wasn't ready to buy anything new. It felt like if I bought something, I was basically admitting defeat regarding my weight, and newsflash: I haven't! Actually, these sweats are doing me a solid. I genuinely love them regardless of the scale, but you know how it goes—you don't realize you're gaining weight until that waistband starts stretching, stretching, and stretching... I didn't even try last winter; I just went into full hibernation mode in my sweats, and then when I finally tried to squeeze into my jeans, oooop... No way, Jose. 👎
PEOPLE, GET OUT OF THE SWEATPANTS! Put on some jeans, a skirt... whatever!
Later...👋
Umm... tell me honestly, did I totally blow it today...? Back when I was hitting the gym consistently, I used to eat tuna pasta with fresh cheese all the time, so I did basically the same thing today—except I tossed the cheese in a pan without any oil, drained every last drop of oil from the tuna, and cracked an egg right in there. And yeah, it was just regular pasta since I didn't have any whole wheat on hand, and it was absolutely pouring rain outside. 😛 And what about... McCormick...?! Please, someone just tell me it's okay to use it... 😕
Anyway, I'm gonna go finish up my book and then hit the laundry...
Goodnight, people... 🙂
And that’s that. Woke up on an empty stomach and feeling totally weak, hahaha... But look, I'm gonna be whatever I want to be, end of story!!!
Sean Martinez34 hit the nail on the head regarding support; my folks at home are already getting pretty frustrated since my weight has been the main topic of conversation for the last 9 years, oh my God... I honestly wonder how much of a pushover I am, making myself and everyone else suffer just because I crave a decent slice of pizza.
stormylynx4, regarding habits—props to you. It seems like Gerald Kern77 was saying yesterday how certain foods just became repulsive to her; when I first started my diet—a drastic one, I'll admit—I didn't touch bread or anything with a strong flavor for 4 months straight... I dropped 16 lbs, so my mom decided to reward me with pizza... Man, forget that, I took one bite and felt sick to my stomach... I don't want to get back to that point. Like you guys said, we don't have to give up everything because that just makes the cravings worse, but having a small "light" pizza once a month is plenty for me. I know I'm just telling you guys what you already know, so don't get mad, but it feels like I'm just talking myself through this and trying to stay encouraged! 🙂
stormylynx4, please tell me how you prep your meat because that bottom layer is driving me crazy... I pour sauce over mine, but I can never get it tender... And if you could only see how well my pizza dough is coming along, mmmm... 🎉
Frank Hughes56, come join the club, just do it... Ugh, I love it when my stomach is empty, I'm a completely different person, you guys!!!
Anyway, I'm off to scarf down some oatmeal and then clean the apartment—God, I hope some guests show up soon... The rain cleared everything out and chased them away...
Later... 😍
I’ll be posting an update tomorrow to let you all know if DAY ONE was actually a success, hihihihi...😛
Benjamin Grant6 and INAČICA, seriously, just listen to what AMISA, mistywalker46, and Gerald Kern77 have been saying... They hit the nail on the head! Honestly, I’ve tried a mountain of different stuff before, but nothing compares to the advice they gave!!! 🙂
The whole point of this thread I started is for us to vent or brag to one another—just jump in. It doesn't matter how you start, things will naturally fall into place if we stay consistent...
Anyway, I'm feeling pretty good about what I did (and didn't) eat today. Plus, I actually walked to the corner store on foot. Usually, I get totally worn out and struggle carrying bags, but today I just threw my backpack on and... powered through. No complaints here 😁
Full disclosure: I had a major craving crisis around 9:00 PM. That’s usually my prime time for raiding the fridge, but my boyfriend was there and, well, sex solved the problem 🙂 Just call it a two-for-one deal on cardio 😈
Gerald Kern77, please keep posting if you have the time or energy—it looks like you really know what you're talking about 👏
Alright people, I'm off to read and try to get some sleep 🙂 since I can't seem to drift off any other way...
Goodnight everyone...
Hey my crew, thanks again for all the messages!!! It seriously means the world to me...
ironnomad14, you're driving me crazy!!! We'll figure something out for you too, don't worry!!! You're totally right about how it's a human thing; I mean, if I ate as much as my mom, I'd be a literal ton, but she stays thin just by chewing and chewing... We actually thought she was sick at first, but turns out the woman just has a metabolism like Michael Schumacher!!! Pffft... Anyway, I definitely took after my dad 🙂 But hey, it is what it is. We are who we are, and it's up to us whether we deal with it properly or just blame our genes. I'm telling you people: FIGHT FOR IT!!!
ironnomad14, if you love cycling, then get out there and ride, ride, riiiiiide... Make it a habit (after 21 days of doing the same thing every day, you get a short-term habit, and after 6 months, it becomes permanent). Now, I know that sounds like a MASSIVE amount of time, but is it worth it for you?!
For me, I had to stop going to the gym, and even after a year, I miss it so much. I'm already looking forward to autumn when I can head back... 🙂
I'll write to you guys another time about this nutritionist I met—she works for the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee (which gives her some serious street cred, right?!) 👏
Ultimately, everything starts in our heads, and if we start there, maybe the wheels will finally line up. We have to do the research to find what actually works for us.
Honestly, my only real weakness is that my willpower fails me whenever I see a delicious deli salami, and don't even get me started on pizza, ugh...
Whatever, it's fine... Today's menu is chicken breast (of course, it's as dry as a desert), but I've got cucumbers, mmmmmm... Comfort me, peopleeeee, Hihihihih...
That's all from Pope Smurf, bye y'all... 🧐
You know, I feel like kids are just like our politics. Everyone has their favorite party they swear by, but once election season actually hits, none of them really seem to hold water anymore. 🙂
I’ve tried all sorts of "miracle" fixes, and honestly, I've realized there’s only one recipe that works for me: eat a smaller pile of stuff and then go run, swim, jump... basically anything that makes me sweat!!!
Laura Ramirez10, thanks for the tip... I've been hearing a lot about that UN diet lately, but something about it just feels off. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's just not it... Sure, I've heard of people getting great results, but I've heard some horror stories too. Like this friend of mine who could barely last a month; she says trying to stick to it is brutal because you just want to eat everything in sight. Anyway, setting that aside, it just didn't sit right with me!
Linda Diaz3... Hihihihih... Let's go running together! 👍 So, tell us how it's going for you? With the vegetarian thing, I mean... 🙂
ironnomad14... Hang in there, but watch yourself... How is it that your diet hasn't helped you? Just vent, go ahead... I've decided that whenever those unnecessary hunger pangs hit me, I'm going to bombard you guys with a massive wall of text (more or less meaningful) 😈
My advice? Find an activity that relaxes you but also goes toe-to-toe with those fat deposits 👋. For me, everything was a win—fitness totally blew me away. I loved hitting the gym, and I looked amazing! It wasn't just about the physique, either; I felt spiritually stronger (Yeeee, build that spirit!). And even if I overdid it on the food once in a while, I'd just burn it off the next day along with twice as much guilt, yeah...
Alright, I'll stop acting like a know-it-all before you think I'm some kind of doctor. It's easy to talk the talk, but character counts, or so it seems 😵
Anyway folks, have a great day!
AND THANK YOU, I WAS BEING A SKEPTIC... BUT YOU GUYS STILL SHOWED UP, THAAAAAAANK YOU... KISSES
Today was just one of those weird days... I was scrolling through some old photos from not too long ago and it finally hit me: enough is enough. For nine years now, I’ve been stuck in this exhausting cycle of weight fluctuations—and I’m not talking about a couple of pounds, I mean swinging 35 to 45 pounds up and down throughout the year!
I can't quite put my finger on why today felt like the turning point... but I know deep down it's time to overhaul my entire life and my habits. All those fad diets, all those "quick fixes" marketed to us by people who probably just gained a few extra pounds over the winter—imagine thinking you're struggling when you're only carrying an extra 7 or 8 pounds! Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to judge anyone, it's more like this sudden burst of anger finding a way out because, honestly, let me be real for once: I'm actually jealous of those people who only have a tiny bit of extra weight on them. Ugh...
It would definitely be easier, yeah... I really should have just admitted that a long time ago.
Anyway, I went for a walk today, feeling the rain hitting my skin, and I decided that tomorrow is officially DAY ONE!
I've never really used a forum like this before, but I figured I'd look for some people dealing with the same struggles. Maybe if we pool our strength, we can navigate these rough patches a little better...
If you're feeling the same way and actually want to do something about it... reach out. 🙂
