Dealing with psoriasis?

I’ve got a 7-month-old little one, and we just got back from the hospital yesterday after getting a diagnosis of napkin psoriasis.
We were actually inpatient for a week getting treated, and while things cleared up quite a bit, it’s already starting to flare up again in certain spots.
The weird part is that we heard two completely different takes from two different doctors. I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with this specific type of psoriasis—does it tend to come back often, and what kind of treatment plans have worked for you guys?
