Half those stores you mentioned don't even have half their stock ready to go, so you're stuck waiting forever, right? I’ve been staring at this card, and honestly, $283 doesn't it look way worse than those other two options?

P.S. Why on earth would they even bother putting a VGA port on a card like this when the resolution limit is so low? My old setup had dual DVI plus VGA, and if I recall correctly, I couldn't even hit 1680x1050 on it.

My Albatron GF 8600GTS graphics card finally kicked the bucket—it's got 256MB of PCIe memory—so now I'm on the hunt for a replacement. I've got about $500 set aside, though honestly, $333 the less I can spend, the better! It doesn't need to be the fastest card on the planet, right? I just love playing games on my computer, even if I'm not exactly obsessed with the latest AAA titles.

RAM: 4 GB DDR2 PC6400 800MHz Kingmax

I've been looking at these options:

But I'm a bit stuck—do you think these might be overkill for my setup, especially considering my monitor?🤷

If you’re using Handbrake, the only thing you really have to watch out for is making sure you don't shrink the file down so much that it loses its quality!
Once you've got that sorted, you can just jump over to Macrium Reflect and burn it straight to a disc, right?
That way, you end up with a perfect backup of your own. I've actually tested this out with all those new movies—even the kids' cartoons🤣—and it works like a charm!😉 👍
