Can someone please help me make sense of this MRI report for my L5?
Thanks 🙂
The Th11 vertebra has a slightly wedge-shaped body, which looks like it's from an old fracture.
There's some wear and tear—osteochondrosis—between the Th10 and Th11 segments, specifically Type I
per Modic.
Also seeing Schmorl's nodes on the top surfaces of the lower thoracic vertebrae.
The L5 vertebral bodies look okay in terms of alignment and height.
The discs at L3-L4 and L4-L5 are showing degenerative changes, which has
caused the disc spaces to narrow down.
At the L4-L5 level, there’s a wide bulging disc protrusion that's crowding both
lateral recesses, plus some joint degeneration and thickening of the
ligamentum flavum.
Finally, there's a Bulging IV at the L5-S1 level along with some facet joint degeneration.
Hey there,
Could someone please help me make sense of these EMG results? I just copied the conclusion here:
The EMG findings align with the clinical presentation, indicating multiple radiculopathies:
- moderate-to-severe, chronic radicular lesion at L4 on the right side;
- moderate chronic radicular lesions at L5S1 on both sides;
- mild chronic radicular lesions at C5 on the right, C8-T1 on both sides, and L2-L3 on the right
Thanks so much!

Has anyone here actually seen Dr. Vrban Filip? He's a neurosurgeon over at the Sister of Mercy hospital near Vinogradska. Would love to hear some first-hand experiences. Thanks!
I didn't really have a choice here—it's my first time seeing a neurosurgeon. My doctor pointed me toward this hospital, and I already sent all my paperwork through the online portal. Does anyone have a specific doctor they’d recommend? I'm thinking about switching if there's someone better.
I didn't see anything about him either, yet they still sent me over there.
Anyone have any feedback on Dr. John Doe? He's a neurosurgeon over near Napa Valley.
Hey there,
Can anyone help me make sense of these results? I just did an overnight 1 mg dexamethasone suppression test. Had my blood drawn around 9 AM. My cortisol level after the dexamethasone came back at < 27.6 nmol/L. Is that considered normal? Thanks!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good private neurologist? My doctor won't give me another referral for the hospital, and I really just want a second opinion on reading the MRI from the disc.
I’m asking for some advice, please... My mom has uterine cancer, which has spread to her adrenal glands and lymph nodes under her arm. She’s been in the hospital for 2.5 months now and she's just completely wiped out. It's heartbreaking—she can barely eat anything at all. I'm basically having to give her food and liquids through a syringe. Because she’s in such bad shape, she isn't even a candidate for surgery right now. Does anyone have suggestions on how to help her regain even a little bit of strength so she can handle the surgery they said they could perform at Rebro Hospital if she gets stronger? It's so hard to see her like this. Her doctor is sending her to a palliative care facility, and I honestly don't know what to expect there. Has anyone dealt with this before? What should we do next?

frozenbadger5 said:Hey everyone, has anyone actually tried calling a tarot reader? Is it worth the money or just a waste?

There are tons of threads about this already. I’ve called them before, and honestly? They just try to drag out the call to milk you for more cash. They usually just pick up on something you already mentioned. It feels like those old ladies on TV hotline shows—total scam.
A few weeks back, I called Anita from Cleveland; she doesn't have a dedicated hotline, just her cell. She got one thing right, but we'll see about the rest.

I've got a question if anyone knows
My kids are supposed to receive child support from their father, which comes from overseas. I have a protected account set up, but since the payment should hit in a few days, the Federal Reserve won't protect this specific foreign currency account yet because I don't have the final court order in hand. They say it might be delayed. Is there any way, or any specific method, to get this child support money protected?
