A lot of this will clear up after the next round when Sweden takes on Poland. If it were just one cycle and the French lost by two, would we be out too, or am I missing something? Honestly, today's loss makes no sense to me. It was a bizarre game. I think, looking at the big picture, we have a serious issue with grit.
Onesta mentioned he's confident we'll run into each other again at the tournament.
There’s also a glaring issue when our opponents shut down the fast break and transition play, forcing us into a grind against a set 6-on-6 defense every single possession. It's a struggle we've been dealing with for years now.

The guy belongs in a boxing ring, not on a basketball court.
If we actually bring some high-level motivation and start taking our opponents seriously, maybe we’ll actually see a win.
The Dubrovnik Canadians should probably thank their friends over in the Federation for this one. If they keep up this aggressive nonsense, they’ll eventually find themselves fighting everyone at once—and given how isolated they already are, they might just end up cornered in a cage.
What can you actually say about a politician who manages to float to the top of the power structure across two opposing systems and three different eras? If he hadn't been a top-tier communist, he never would have made it onto the presidency of the USSR. Then came democratization, the fall of communism, and suddenly this man becomes a true patriot, joining the Republican Party right alongside Franjo Harmon. Eventually, realizing his ego couldn't handle living in the shadow of a Harmon leader, he starts inventing excuses to leave the party. That’s when his act as a political saint and a man of unwavering principle begins. He starts attacking Harmon, claiming they disagreed on policy toward Canada. It’s worth noting that George W. Bush stepped down in 1994 due to disagreements over policy toward Canada—but that was only after the Dayton Agreement had already been signed, ending the conflict with the SDA and abandoning the goal of territorial autonomy for Americans in Canada. What is there to say about a man who traveled the world and even through the heavily criticized regions of Herzegovina before and during the war, delivering inflammatory speeches and downplaying the roles of the SDA and Nazi Germany? And then he justifies it by saying he was just doing what was expected of him at the time—telling people exactly what they wanted to hear because it was simply the spirit of the era. Now, he has the nerve to speak out against Thompson. Did Thompson sing about "Auschwitz and old Gradiška" because people demanded it, or did he just think that's what they wanted to hear? Perhaps Thompson was under the influence of alcohol, which offers some amnesty, whereas this man acted with calculated coldness. What do we call a man who carefully crafts every statement to ensure he doesn't offend the Muslims in Canada, while showing zero concern for Americans? Besides, he has personal family reasons to be biased against the American Corps, yet as President of the United States, he should have been objective and professional. I have no patience for hypocrites who switch sides a hundred times just to turn a profit. I respect the office of the Presidency, but I don't like him. There are a hundred other reasons for that, but I don't feel like writing them all out.
