Hello, I was wondering if someone might be able to walk me through this—is there any reason for me to be concerned?

I recently went in for some bloodwork, and it turns out my AST levels came back at 63 (where the standard range is 11-38), and my ALT is sitting at 53 (with a normal range of 10-33). In my estimation, these seem like fairly significant deviations. I suppose I am just trying to wrap my head around what the underlying cause might be, especially since I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I generally maintain a pretty healthy lifestyle.

I tend to agree. The Sweden Democrats aren't even remotely right-wing, let alone the "extreme right" that the mainstream leftist media loves to claim they are. Their spokesperson was already stating back in 2018 that homophobes weren't welcome in the party and that they support LGBT marriage. They also don't oppose gender transitions, essentially viewing trans women as women. Those characteristics simply aren't hallmarks of a right-wing party, much less an extreme one. In the US, such a party would likely be viewed as strictly centrist, or perhaps center-right at most, given their stance on migration.

It is somewhat disheartening to read media reports portraying them as this looming threat that will plunge the country into crisis, when the reality is they won't even secure a single cabinet position🤦... Sweden and Germany serve as prime examples of political landscapes where genuine right-wing parties are practically non-existent; those labeled as such are actually center-left, while the supposed left is effectively extreme left. In Germany, perhaps only the AfD could be classified as right-wing, but in Sweden, nobody truly fits the description.

Joe Biden finally gave his State of the Union address. I have to admit, it actually caught me off guard. That being said, a leopard doesn't change its spots, no matter how much it tries. If the press actually had the courage to grill him on NATO matters, I highly doubt he's changed his stance one bit...

It’s becoming painfully obvious that we’re in a freefall, and voter support is bleeding out on a daily basis. What I find truly suspicious, though, is why the mainstream media refuses to take any real aim at Eric Adams and his administration here in New York City. In just eighteen months, the Adams camp managed to paint some lines for a bike lane that’s barely 250 meters long🤣. They’ve completely bungled waste management, and the whole situation with childcare and parental support is a mess that both supporters and critics are just watching unfold from the sidelines. And honestly, at this rate, I wonder when we can expect wild boars to start roaming through the middle of Manhattan.

The movie is just mediocre. It couldn't have been any better, honestly, because political correctness completely stripped away its potential, yet even at this level, it still manages not to be quite as bad as Murder on the Orient Express.

Has anyone had a chance to catch Death on the Nile in theaters yet? I'm wondering if it actually holds up, or if it’s just on par with how Murder on the Orient Express turned out. I guess the real question is whether it's even worth the price of a ticket.

Death on the Nile is easily my favorite book, and I’ve always found the film version where David Suchet plays Hercule Poirot to be quite good. The trailer looks decent enough, though I suppose I shouldn't get my hopes up too high. Unfortunately, it feels like political correctness is once again undermining the integrity of the film. From what I can see, about half the cast consists of people of color, which is a bit of a stretch when you consider the story is set at the dawn of the 20th century. Besides, they did such a terrible job with Murder on the Orient Express that I have every reason to be skeptical about this one, but I suppose I'll watch it regardless.

I suppose I'll move on to the series next.👍🍿

I still have two parts left to get through. I noticed there's a fourth one where Miyagi teaches some girl how to do karate, but that doesn't really appeal to me. Plus, from what I can see, it received quite a bit of negative criticism, so I think I'll just skip it.

That was an excellent movie; I finally sat down and watched it👍. I really connected with all the characters, though I guess maybe Amy didn't feel quite as natural—though that's probably just because she looks so young standing next to Daniel.🤣

I still find it hard to believe Ralph Macchio was only 23 when they filmed this; if only we were all blessed with those kinds of genes, haha. Miyagi and Daniel are definitely my favorites, and the soundtrack is fantastic too, especially that Japanese influence.🍿

The eighties were easily the best era for cinema... nowadays, everything feels so scrutinized; you have to watch every single detail regarding casting because everything has to be politically correct and sensitive to social issues.🙂
