It's just as obvious as the fact that he's a Republican through and through, that he got his position through party connections, that his sister is a criminal, that he's out there driving around without a license, and that people helped him cheat on his civil service exams and all that nonsense.
What I don't get, though, is why you feel the need to defend every single move TT makes as if he were your own flesh and blood.
If he messed up—and in this specific case, he definitely did—then we should be calling him out on it so the same mistake doesn't happen again.
Charles Carter4 said:Yeah, sure, until he gets fired for being a Republican Party crony who got the job and passed his civil service exam just because the Republican Party pulled strings—and because his sister, who's a minister accused of corruption, fixed everything for him.

And once again, if you actually care.
If you just want to complain—ignore this:
You can call in, ask questions, or vent. . .
You can also listen to older segments on the same page.

it's not like everyone in this city is just splitting the loot among themselves...
Are you somehow caught in the crossfire or something? Is that why you won't stop whining?
👍

Quincy:I’m worried the Democratic Party won't win power anywhere anymore, let alone in New York City.
If Petek had been chosen instead of Ante Gotovina, the Democratic Party would be making a serious play to take control of the city. I have a feeling they’ll break off from the coalition before the regular elections anyway to prep for the new ones. Of course, Eric Adams isn't smart enough to see that coming.
And they aren't going to leave anything behind, because leaving would mean giving the people they managed to slot in more leverage. Stop talking nonsense 🤣
And what would the Democratic Party even gain from early elections? In the most optimistic scenario, maybe one or two extra council members? Great. And then what? 😁
Everything is still running smoothly on my end. 🙂
Okay... and? Do you actually have a specific grievance with that department head? Do you know anyone else who stepped up that you think is actually qualified?
Or is your only issue just whether someone is an old acquaintance of someone else?

It’s a total mess because the last time anyone bothered to empty our bins was way back during the last scheduled run on Thursday. Around 3 PM, some posts started popping up on the local community Facebook group saying they actually did go around and empty the big dumpsters near those apartment complexes where the trucks can easily get to 😉
Fast forward to about 10 PM—pitch black, nobody else out on the streets, just us. Everyone’s wandering around clutching a trash bag, hanging out, trading insults with the apartment dwellers whose dumpsters are basically getting bombarded right now. Dogs are running around playing... I guess all we're missing is a literal cauldron and a merry-go-round to make the whole scene complete 😬

There isn't an agency in the world that could pull off that kind of branding—making the entire country believe they're just a massive nest of crooks and criminals.
And no, everything isn't allowed in politics. Nothing is ever truly "anything goes," and there have to be some boundaries somewhere.
And let's be clear, it's not like everyone in the other parties is a saint. You'll find shady characters everywhere. But in the other parties, you can actually find professionals who don't view politics as a personal piggy bank—a way to grab power just so they can steal, hire their buddies, or set up jobs for family and lovers.
In the Republican Party, it seems to be exclusively that kind of crowd. Throughout my life, I've run into quite a decent number of them, many in influential positions, so I know exactly how they operate.
And just so nobody thinks I'm being envious—every single one of them was willing to help if you were in a bind. I knew that if I had reached out to them during certain messy periods of my life, all the nonsense I was dealing with would have vanished. But on the flip side, asking for that help meant selling my soul to the devil.
It's pure mafia style— when the time comes, you're going to owe me...
And that's the Republican Party from the first member to the very last.
Not really. What's so strange about that?
They wouldn't listen to meeeee 🙂 and do what I tell themmmmmm 🙂, because I'm just the smartestttttttttt 🙂
How much? 🙂
The guy? You mean Eric Adams? Since when does the Mayor deal with the employment contracts of local family doctors?
darkhawk30 said:You remind me a bit of Amber Heard.
I just saw a photo of her and couldn't help but wonder: why can't this poor woman just shut up for a second? She’s already driving everyone crazy, and nobody can say for certain if she truly endured such trauma or if she’s just blowing minor inconveniences out of proportion.
At first, you were so blindly supportive—forgive my bluntness, that’s just how I saw it—of TikTok and their crew. Your sudden pivot is so radical it feels like one of them personally stepped on your toe.
Even if that actually happened, it’s unclear to me how you went from being an uncritical cheerleader to an uncritical opponent.
You seem offended and, frankly, a little obsessed.
Of course, I’m keeping in mind that you might know something about this topic that I and everyone else doesn't, so I'm taking everything with a grain of salt, but take a breather. It feels like you're constantly tailing them, hunting for mistakes, much like how you used to hunt for excuses in the beginning. Remember that whole debate about the notary?
Maybe my theory—that members of the old administration are constantly sabotaging him instead of helping—isn't based in reality, but we all have to wait and see how this story plays out by the end of his term.
I didn't mean to offend you, but seriously, take a break.

What exactly does Eric Adams do all day? Manage bike lanes?
