Total waste of time..
Who killed the grandma? Identity crisis? Ugh, SO BORING!!! If I actually wanted to sit through something like Crime and Punishment, I’d just head to the local library—where an annual membership costs way less than what I just paid to endure this two-and-a-half-hour slog in a theater. Honestly, during those two and a half hours, I think I turned green from pure boredom more times than Bruce Banner did.
Don't get me wrong, the cinematography is decent enough, and they nailed that comic book aesthetic, but let's be real: Marvel didn't make him famous because of some tragic flashbacks or these endless moral quandaries. He’s famous because he’s massive, he’s green, and he smashes everything in his path—period. That’s what the movie should have focused on. It was handled perfectly in the video games—you just grab a car and bash thugs over the head with it, no need for all the father issues, mother issues, and childhood trauma. They shouldn't have tried to get "deep" here. A mental reminder: Ang Lee is just plain tedious.
I couldn't wait to get out of there.

The Godfather in Movies ·
To movie was perfectly fine by my standards—though, let’s be honest, if it hadn't featured Butcher (or if someone else had been cast in that role), the whole thing would have fallen flat by at least half.

The interesting part is that those gangs aren't just some Hollywood invention; I actually heard that the Butcher character himself was inspired by a real-life figure.

It’s a shame this isn't something like Harry Potter, because then we’d actually see action figures and all that gear in the stores—I’d have snatched up a Butcher figure in a heartbeat (assuming the cleavers and butcher knives weren't sold separately, of course). The man simply dominates the screen from the moment he appears.

🙏
Everything you watch, everything you listen to—it all leaves a mark, doesn't it? It seeps into your subconscious and shapes who you are. Films, in particular, are engineered specifically to trigger those raw emotional responses—some hitting the bullseye while others... well, they miss the mark entirely. So, if you're looking for my final verdict, it’s a resounding YES. 😈 😈 😈
Starting a small business in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Well, thanks a lot everyone... I suppose that's it then—nothing comes of the small business venture after all.
Starting a small business in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Greetings to all—my current situation is as follows:
I am currently employed and fully covered by my employer, yet I am considering launching my own small business as a sole proprietorship. Is this even legally permissible, given that the venture I intend to start falls directly within my current professional field? Furthermore, would I be burdened with additional Social Security and Medicare taxes, seeing as my primary employer is already handling those withholdings? Truth be told, I am looking for any shred of information that might shed light on this—perhaps a specific government website or a reliable resource where these nuances are laid out in detail. I have scoured several sites regarding the requirements for starting a business, but none of them seem to address the specifics for someone who is already a W-2 employee elsewhere.
Thank you in advance for any insight you can offer; time is of the essence here.
