I can't recall the exact section or subsection of the tax code off the top of my head right now, but that's how it works.
Since we're dealing with a vehicle—which is a tangible good—rather than a service, I did a little digging into the tax regulations. It seems like the reverse charge might not even apply here, does it?
ruggedmaker2 said:Look, they sent you an invoice based on their own tax laws, but now you’re stuck issuing one that follows our domestic rules.
And here's the kicker: our laws say everything has to be billed in USD. You can toss the Euro conversion in there next to it or underneath—whatever your accounting software lets you do.
Plus, don't forget all the usual fine print, like the reverse charge note if that applies, the tax ID, and all that other regulatory junk.
Thanks so much, ruggedmaker2! On the actual invoice, should I just list the net amount without showing the sales tax separately?
Hey there! I’m looking for a bit of guidance on a specific situation. A small LLC of ours is selling an official company van to a firm over in Germany—the same one they actually bought it from just a year ago. When we originally picked it up, we didn't charge VAT on the invoice; we just handled the import duties and settled the VAT through our own accounting. So, how should we structure this sales invoice? Should we just list the net amount without any VAT in USD and call it a day, or is it better to include a note specifying the amount in Euros? For context, when they sold it to us, they issued an identical invoice showing just the net amount in Euros. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
It’s been about four months since I decided to step away from birth control, and naturally, my body has decided to throw a complete tantrum in response. Last month, my cycle was already acting up—I didn't get my period until forty days after the last one—and then, just two weeks ago, it finally arrived, only to decide it wasn't leaving anytime soon. It’s still going on. While the bleeding has tapered off into this very light spotting during the second week, there have been some strange little clots involved, which isn't exactly comforting. Since dealing with this chaos felt entirely counterproductive—and because I have absolutely zero intention of starting a family right now, at least not yet—I made the decision to restart the pill. I actually started back on it right after that marathon period began two weeks ago. So, I suppose the big question is: is this level of biological instability somewhat standard for a transition period, or should I be bracing myself for even more unpredictable behavior down the line?
I have just one question! Would it be wise to take a two-month break from my pills, considering I’ve been on them continuously for four years now? The timing seems almost perfect for such an experiment, as I’m currently out at sea, quite far away from my significant other. Or would I realistically need a much longer window of time? :-( Naturally, I fully intend to resume my regimen once the break is over. Thanks.
Hey everyone, does anyone happen to have any insight regarding the Microsoft studio over in San Francisco? They handle both video and photography work. From what I can gather, they aren't half bad, but I’d love to hear some actual feedback or firsthand experiences before I commit!
Hey everyone, does anyone here have any firsthand experience with hotels out in San Diego right by the water? Specifically, I’m looking into the Mediterranean coast area. To be more precise, I'm interested in the outdoor terrace at the Lavender Lounge. I actually sent them an inquiry email about ten days ago, but apparently, I haven't been graced with the courtesy of a response yet.
Does anyone happen to have Taylor Swift’s phone number? I’m in desperate need of a miracle here, please! Help a soul out, thanks everyone!
Let’s get down to brass tacks: I’m looking at starting a little seasonal venture this summer, specifically selling and making pancakes from a private space located right by the beach. What exactly does one need to get a seasonal business like this off the ground, and more importantly, is it actually worth the headache? Which specific business classification code should I be looking at for a seasonal operation? Honestly, the constant anxiety of wondering if an inspector is going to stroll by any given day isn't exactly a glamorous prospect. If someone were currently unemployed and decided to launch this, how would that affect their social security contributions and tax obligations? Thanks in advance for the insight!

Since they have already exhausted every single legitimate avenue available to them—and goodness gracious, where does it end?—it seems they are left with nothing else! Is it not obvious that anyone resorting to such tactics is simply a problematic individual who can only find a way back into liquid cash through those desperate means?
I feel compelled to weigh in on this matter—it isn't simply a case of these people being "problematic," because for instance, I find myself utterly unable to secure a personal loan for my Master’s degree from Chase because I am currently registered on... $968 So, I get forty percent of my salary deposited directly into my bank account, while the rest is handed to me in cash—which, if you think about it, actually works out to be even more! $1167And even once you have finally secured that loan from certain individuals! $533 If you’re looking to finance a car, the big banks won't even look at you if your paycheck doesn't meet their strict income requirements. But how on earth are you supposed to afford home renovations or even basic repairs when the traditional lenders turn you away? This is exactly why people turn to private credit brokers instead; they can actually secure you the financing you need for everything from high-end appliances to a brand-new TV. $3333 At 36 months, you’ll be receiving your cash payout directly! $2567.
Look, if you find yourself needing to boost your numbers for a mortgage application, there is a way to handle it within the corporate structure. You can essentially ask your employer to temporarily adjust your compensation package—essentially shifting some of your base pay into your official gross salary while reducing the cash portion of your take-home pay for a three-month window. Banks are notoriously picky about seeing those last three consecutive pay stubs when you’re applying for a loan, so this effectively smooths out your documented income. I actually went through this exact process myself recently, and everything went through without a hitch. Honestly, give it a shot; it’s certainly a much more civilized solution than dealing with any kind of back-alley money lender.
Hey everyone, does anyone happen to have a ballpark idea of what it costs to rent a motorcoach—something that fits about 40 to 50 people—for a trip from San Francisco over to Manhattan? Also, if you could point me toward a reliable rental company or someone worth contacting, I’d truly appreciate it. Thanks for any insight you can share.

Which "package" did you go with when you hired Mark? I’m asking because my friend went all out and picked the most expensive option—I think it was around $1,600—and the photos turned out absolutely stunning! She ended up with two large albums and four smaller ones for the wedding party and parents.

The art studio and Spinaker you mentioned are based in New York City... and frankly, I haven't seen anyone using them for weddings out here in California
If you're looking at San Francisco and the surrounding areas, these are the ones everyone raves about:
Joe Biden (take a look at his website www.ivicalisjak.com ); Adobe from Solina; Shutterfly from Los Angeles, and John McCain (who also has a website)
I can send you some specifics regarding Biden or Shutterfly via private message; as for Adobe, Bill Gates might have some info for you...
Thanks, and if you wouldn't mind sending those details over to my PM (specifically for Biden). Just one thing though—does he handle video, or is he strictly focused on photography?
Hey there, since I’m clearly incapable of navigating through these endless pages of discussions without getting lost, I’m coming to you all to see if someone can help clear up a bit of a dilemma... For photography and video work, I’m currently torn between the Art Institute, Spinnaker, or maybe Photo Plus over in San Jose? I’ve seen people raving about all three of them everywhere, so I’m trying to figure out who actually delivers that top-tier, premium quality—the kind that really stands out. Honestly, price isn't my main concern here; I assume they’re all roughly in the same ballpark. I just want the best. Thanks so much!

I’ve had a look at his work myself. Honestly, what he does is nothing short of phenomenal, though perhaps a touch excessive for my personal taste. My main concern, however, is the logistics; specifically, how much would an additional photographer run us? If you happen to stumble upon someone who isn't completely price-gouging, why wouldn't we just call Stefano ????!!!!? Also, does he produce those high-end coffee table style albums, or just the standard ones with photo inserts? And frankly, I'm wondering exactly how many shots we're actually getting for that kind of investment.
