Here’s my strategy: I just pinch his nose shut and hold it—it gets pretty tense, usually lasts about three hours—and then I wait... eventually he jumps up, and I just pretend to be asleep so things stay quiet. At least until I drift off myself. If that fails, I grab my pillow and blanket, slam the door hard enough to rattle the windows, and just retreat to another room. Thrilling stuff, really.
Why are you asking people on a forum about something this serious? Go see a doctor. It might just be a meniscus issue, which they can fix with laparoscopy—you won't even have a scar. If you can swing it, go see Dr. German at the clinic in Mattoon. It’ll cost you, but you'll feel like a new person.
God! It makes me want to scream. This obsession with importing from China... it’s ridiculous. They just flood the market with junk, and then everyone wonders why they're constantly replacing broken stuff. But apparently, that doesn't bother the average person here in America. I personally refuse to buy anything made in China. I’d much rather pay a little extra for quality than deal with literal trash. I won't even step foot in their stores, let alone give them a dime. Honestly, we should be supporting our own American companies so our people actually have jobs, instead of bumping into some little fat Chinese person on every street corner. I get that domestic goods cost more, but importing garbage isn't the answer.
