I think you might find some over in the county, specifically in Indianapolis at that local handmade goods shop.

Well, we have finally started the planning process for this big event. We’ve already locked in the venue—it's going to be at the Patriot Hotel in White Plains. It's a bit of a drive from Indianapolis, but honestly, it’s not a dealbreaker.
As far as the other details go, we found some invitations and thank-you notes that we really love (on that "ada" site), but I'm still a bit hazy on the final cost and how the ordering process actually works.
Now we’re down to the "little things"—the photographer, the videographer, and the music. For the photo and video side of things, I want someone edgy; people with actual personality and a ton of creative ideas. I absolutely cannot stand those staged shots where everyone is grinning like they just bit into a lemon. I checked out that Leon production crew and their work is incredible, but frankly, it feels like a massive stretch to drop $3333 just on that. Does anyone know where I can find something with a similar vibe but without the premium price tag? Regarding the music, my partner is suggesting the Players from SB. Has anyone here actually hired them? What’s their style like? Just to be clear, I am not interested in any country wedding acts under any circumstances.
I’ve been reading about the itd band on here—does anyone happen to have their contact info or an idea of what they charge?

🙂 The ITD Band is great! Nothing but praise for them👍. They played over by the yacht club near the pier there by the marina. I can't remember exactly right now, but just give them a call and ask if you can hear them live somewhere... 🙂 You can find their number on my blog.😉 Good luck!🙂

A little more about the venue 🙂. So, the walls are painted this lovely light blue, and they provide chair covers $5.00/piece. The layout is split by floor—the kitchen is downstairs, and they have a dumbwaiter right by the bar to move everything up. Honestly, you really need to see it in person. It’s gorgeous, seats about 300 people, and there's plenty of parking. Most importantly, since they’re just starting out, if you're a good negotiator, you can definitely snag a discount and get a great deal. They offer a few different menus, but everything is pretty flexible... Good luck!🙂😉

Tyler Brown4 said:Just wanted to mention that I placed an order today from a lady in Savannah for a custom reverence (280 cm $433). We designed it together, and she is incredibly patient and professional. It should be ready in about two weeks. I also managed to find some guest favors there, and I’ll likely pick up the glassware for the tables too. If anyone needs her contact info, feel free to reach out. 🙂

I’d be happy to walk you through what I picked up... I know they look like a bit of an investment at first glance, but once you see how much is actually packed into the kit, it starts to make more sense. It's definitely one of those "buy once, cry once" situations where you're paying for the quality and convenience of having everything in one place. So, inside the kit, you've got the core essentials, but there are a few specialized pieces that really justify the price tag. There's the main applicator, which feels incredibly sturdy, some high-grade prep wipes, a couple of different types of finishing tools, and the actual formula itself, which is quite generous in volume. It’s all very organized too—everything has its own little spot so nothing gets lost or messy... it just makes the whole process feel way more seamless. Let me know if you want me to break down the specific ingredients or anything else...🙂

There are a few stalls there, and I’ve actually picked up some birthday bouquets from them a couple of times. Honestly, they were great—modern, stylish, and way cheaper than anything you'd find at a high-end florist. I worked with Attila Gašpar; his little shop is called "kala".

I ended up placing an order with him for a wedding—the bridal bouquet and some car decorations. I handled the table arrangements myself, though. My go-to florist is actually Mrs. Lucy from the same market. She keeps a full catalog of bouquet styles, and she's such a sweetheart that she often gives me a bit of a discount... My husband's family really wanted to go through Attila, so, being the good daughter-in-law that I am, I gave in. And honestly? Everything turned out just fine.🙂

I’m not sure if it’s actually worth the cost for you, though I suppose it really depends on which venue you book. When we held our wedding out in Sedona at that small town in rural America, it ended up costing us almost $40 per person, including the first two courses and their drinks. But honestly, people didn't really start partying until later in the night, so they were basically advertising themselves. Plus, since the owners run their own Farmers Market, you can usually negotiate a bit of a discount on the food prices.🙂

Maria Ramirez4 said:Hey everyone, I'm looking for some intel on the Isabelle bridal boutique over in Indianapolis. Does anyone know what kind of damage a dress rental actually does to your wallet? What’s the typical price range? Also, what exactly comes included in the deal, how many days before the big day can I actually take the dress home, and who's stuck footing the bill for the cleaning?

You should probably just click through to their website; they have their phone number and locations in both Indianapolis and Savannah listed there. Usually, with a rental, you get the shoes, hair accessories, and gloves. As for anything else, I'd definitely ask them directly because every boutique has its own specific packages... I'm not sure if Isabelle's includes things like the cake server set, the ring pillow, or the flower baskets, for instance. Cleaning is typically baked into the rental price. But honestly, your best bet is to give them a call and get all those details straight from the source.
Good luck! 🙂

🙂 You can find a ton of stuff over at www.freehouse.biz. The site just launched recently, so they’re constantly adding more items, and honestly, their prices are about a third of what you'd pay at most big-box retailers👍. There is actually quite a bit of inventory that hasn't even been uploaded to the site yet—I was browsing through yesterday—and they'll be adding boutonnières to the selection very soon. Their main shop is located out in Columbus. If you need some inspiration for invitation wording, you can check out http://vjencanjeradost.blogspot.com
They're planning to post even more templates and helpful info there too...

Good luck to everyone planning their big day!!!😉
