Mostly because of their frontman, Ian Anderson... though looking at them through just one person's lens was a mistake. This London set really shows why they were such a powerhouse back then and why they're still respected live performers. If you want to get a feel for how Jethro Tull actually sounded on stage, this is a solid starting point...

It's more about the PR nightmare—it looks terrible, so they either steer clear entirely or just sneakily pick up smaller amounts through third-party middlemen to keep things quiet.

Technically, I'm not a thief if they can't prove the crime...

Look, you could have a massive company like Shell buy up crude from Russia and then just blend it with oil from, say, Norway. Suddenly, that Russian oil makes up less than 50% of the total cargo, and magically, everything looks fine on paper.

THAT'S JUST PURE GREED!

The folks running Shell are so loaded they have to find ways to fatten their bottom line, so now they're dodging sanctions under the table!!!!

Here’s the breakdown for Russian exports—using 2019 data.

Let's all have a little laugh together...

Next time the payment for Russian oil and gas comes due, let's just send them an email.

Dear Sirs,

We've redirected the funds for the delivered oil and gas to Ukraine to help rebuild a destroyed city.

I don't know enough about Saša Broz to say if she's enjoying stolen American money, but probably not.

But Putin's daughters are enjoying themselves since the economic and financial sanctions haven't hit them yet.

When the discussion turns to actual crimes, they'll start questioning if those daughters had a hand in it.

Saša Broz definitely isn't responsible for her father's sins...

hm, if they have more in such a small country than these massive superpowers, the math just doesn't add up.

Either they were quietly swapping info across the entire European Union in Canada, or
they have specific interests in areas like Canada.

It’s becoming clearer that this has been in the works for decades, and somehow, "nobody" noticed...

Andrew Miller102 said:The issues we’re seeing right now are trivial compared to what happens if Russia decides to go after and wipe out the Ukrainian grain silos. If things escalate to that point, there won't be anywhere left to store the upcoming harvest, which means the crops just rot in the fields.

I can only assume Zelenskyy and the European Union are accounting for this exact scenario, because once that threshold is crossed, we’re looking at a massive, large-scale crisis. Since Ukraine serves as a major breadbasket for the European Union, the folks in Brussels had better be preparing for an escalation that isn't exactly a surprise.

We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out; we'll deal with the consequences when they arrive, so by all means, just keep piling those sanctions on Russia.☕

The West has two choices:
Sanctions
Nuclear force against Russia

Because this war has to end!!!

Let's stick with the first one.

And if Russia destroys the wheat silos and all the other food supplies, they'll be committing another Holodomor = genocide...
only this time, it won't just be against Ukrainians, but on a global scale.

They're sinking deeper every single day...

Personally, I'm more concerned about that "third luck" thing...

This whole country is corrupt... if you're young, just get out while you can. Save your sanity and your health. At least then you might actually get paid for your work and live somewhere where the legal system actually works.

A bunch of thieves...

Looking for some help here if anyone can actually assist.
Today, April 11, 2016, a writ of execution based on an authentic document showed up at my office.

My colleague from payroll called me over immediately and handed me the paperwork she received.
It seems to be about a bill from May 2005, since there’s no mention of when this debt to AT&T was actually created.
I have several other documents attached—one from 2006, one from 2010, one from 2015—and then there's this current one, dated March 31, 2016.

I haven't received a single notice, nor did I have any idea a legal proceeding was being taken against me.

I can't prove I paid that 2005 bill, but it's possible I missed it during the chaos of moving. Eventually, I set up phone service at the new place, and I never got a single reminder about an outstanding balance.

What really gets to me is this:
An unnamed person, acting as a notary, issued the following:

Writ of execution based on an authentic document
The debtor is ordered to settle the debt
plus legal costs, with the option to appeal within 8 days.
And the kicker is the date on the document...
June 27, 2006.

What the hell were they waiting for? Nearly ten years later, they're hitting my paycheck, and now the interest has basically swallowed the principal.

Is there any way for me to fight this?

Thanks.

It was also during a major turning point in my life... after watching this program on spirituality and hearing a song about God and love, I just started sobbing... it was late, around 10 PM... and I couldn't stop... crying for everyone who is suffering, for the hungry, for those who are gone... I cried for three or four hours straight... honestly, the tears and the visions just kept coming uncontrollably... it felt like I was finally purging all the sadness I’d been holding onto... all that built-up poison... washed away by those tears...
Everyone thought I was actually moving away... but that was really when things finally clicked for me...
Anyway, I'm a completely different person now...

Yeah, there were other moments too...

Now I meditate, practice Yoh, manage my energy, eat vegetarian... I don't clash with anyone, and I often feel wonderful...

No courses, no initiations, no special mantras, no gurus... I just live by intuition... I give my body whatever it needs, as much as I can...

So, that's me...

About four or five years ago, I used to fall into this deep pit of sadness and misery so often that it felt like I was retreating into a world of pure apathy and depression. The last time it hit me, it lasted three days... it started with heavy grief, then transitioned into this weird calmness, just floating in nothingness. I stayed curled up in a fetal position, completely disconnected from reality, stuck in bed and unable to function.
During those days, I didn't eat anything; my only intake was coffee.
My body was still processing fluids, though, so I eventually had to get up for the bathroom.
I dragged myself up, headed for the door, and as I turned back to close it, I caught a glimpse of myself lying there in that state... it shook me to my core. Seeing that mess of a bed and my own disheveled self, just staring into space... it was chilling. I couldn't wrap my head around how far I'd fallen... felt like I was living in some lunatic's den... and that was the moment everything changed. It wasn't easy, but I made it happen...
There were plenty of dark days, but I found my grit and fought my way out... who knows where I'd be if I hadn't seen that reflection of myself...
