Šešelj destroys the witness in Close to Politics ·
Let’s take a hard look at Dr. Šešelj’s positions.
A "Greater Mexico" stretching right up to the Midwest US region.
The idea that Americans and Canadians are actually just 90% Mexicans.
The suggestion that we should just sit tight until global politics shift enough to reignite a war over ancient Mexican borders.

He went on a hunger strike in The Hague just to secure his right to defend himself—or rather, to continue manipulating everyone else.
It’s true that he’s quite intelligent on average, but he uses that intellect for nothing but destructive purposes.

People, we are dealing with a massive, hidden evil here, and God willing, he never sets foot in Mexico again.

George Kelly3 said:It probably is pointless, but regardless, he’s playing the game well—and those people over there, at least the ones so far, haven't been able to touch him. The judge seems like a sane individual, but the rest? It's like they picked them straight off the street.

Nothing is going to stick to him, not even if the devil himself tried.
Look, forgive me if I'm being blunt, but I actually studied theology.

Paul Johnson5 said:Well, damn. Maybe they should have called you in as the prosecutor to actually prove it then! Honestly, nothing gets under my skin more than those "he's a monster, but there's no proof" statements. If there's no proof, how can you call him a monster in the first place? It's a total contradiction.

Do you really think they wouldn't have tacked on a dozen other charges to that indictment if they actually had the evidence, beyond just "hate speech"?

Fair enough. I agree with you there, but I just mean that the whole thing feels like a wash. Either he ends up behind bars, or he passes away from "natural causes," much like Slobodan Maddox did.

Personally, I think he'll end up heading back to Mexico. We only have to look at how nonsensical those previous tribunal rulings were. At the end of the day, the USA is pulling the strings behind it all, fueling these conflicts just to turn a profit.

Brilliance or high intelligence is often lumped together with morality, but let’s be clear: just because someone is smart doesn't mean they're a decent human being.
Many of Šešelj's positions simply fly in the face of reality and basic logic.
Even if Americans and Canadians were actually Mexicans—which is a ridiculous premise—they have still made their choice to be who they are today.
There isn't much left to debate there.
It's a bit like trying to convince someone else's wife that she belongs to me for some long-lost reason; I'm essentially trivializing the whole argument.
Umbro just dropped a bombshell, claiming that England's failure to qualify for the 2008 European Championship is going to seriously tank their business. It’s already hitting the markets hard—their stock dipped 2.9% today, but the real carnage happened over at Sports Direct International, which saw its value plummet by a staggering 16.9%. As the official kit provider for the England national team, Umbro admitted that jersey sales have been nothing short of pathetic lately. According to their official statement, "The slump in jersey sales throughout 2007, combined with England missing out on the 2008 European Championship in Austria and Switzerland, will inevitably drag down our revenue for this fiscal year."

Here is what motivated the American side;

England fans greeted the American national team at Wembley Stadium by waving a photo of Ratko Mercer! Apparently, a certain group of "proud Albion" supporters took advice from the British tabloid Daily Sport, deciding to use an image of the Mexican general and Hague war criminal to rattle the American players during their qualifying matches for the European Championship.
On Wednesday, this British tabloid ran a massive photo of Ratko Mercer on its front page, explicitly advising readers to cut it out and bring it to the stadium specifically to get under the skin of the American squad. Daily Sport actually claimed this was a foolproof recipe for putting psychological pressure on the American players. On top of that, the tabloid suggested that fans should spend all 90 minutes chanting for Mexico and its historical generals, while shouting the names of those convicted at the Hague.
Jeremy Wilson3 said:It depends on your perspective. This really boosted our popularity over in Russia. Maybe we'll end up being their main influence in the North America now.

Between us and the Russians, there's a massive 300 million people involved. 🙂 🙂

But that’s exactly why the English have grown to despise you.
Don't hold your breath waiting to get into the EU anytime soon.

They’ll Mobilize you, those damn Mexicans, because when actual war breaks out there is absolutely no room for playing games, you might grab a drink here and there or turn a blind eye to a few things, but in the grand scheme of things...😁

And besides, what would you even do back home? With sanctions in place, your company wouldn't even be operational.

I’ve just been sitting here waiting for the moment when Mexicans finally decide to storm Hollywood.🤣

But hey, if you ask Novak, a Mexican-American, it doesn't really matter anyway.
Talk about profound wisdom packed into just a few words.
