The fact that he lacks expertise isn't some minor detail you can just overlook; this subject is far too complex and heavy for someone without actual knowledge to be moderating, deleting posts, and handing out bans. It’s honestly—even more concerning than I initially thought...

I've been lurking on this forum for a very long time, and while I write less frequently, I have to say that I have never witnessed such a style of moderation 🤦

If this is happening because the owners of this site ordered it, then it’s a massive disgrace to an otherwise reputable platform, and it might even carry legal implications. However, if a moderator is just unilaterally hijacking the thread like this, then it’s high time the owner stepped in and dealt with them.

The issue here is that the moderator is clearly a complete amateur when it comes to medicine, going so far as to call the warnings from the World Health Organization "horribly stupid." He's being enabled by some doctor on this forum who condescendingly tosses out "absolute truths" and advice without any actual scientific basis—advice that could easily backfire on people later on.

It’s interesting how reality and the way things are actually unfolding continue to debunk both the moderator and this doctor-forum-user, day after day.
Over the next few weeks, this is going to be the hottest topic across all the major news outlets and message boards. I highly doubt it serves the interests of the site owner to have a moderator calling the highest health authorities "stupid" while simultaneously banning and deleting posts from people who are simply following the WHO's guidelines. It's deeply concerning...

I double-checked everything—they took out the exact amount listed.

Basically, it’s the amount sent plus a 3 Euro Western Union fee. Once you convert that to USD and factor in the exchange rate from Euro to Dollars, it matches what was paid out in the States perfectly. You lose a tiny bit during the currency conversion process, though.
Paid via Intel (Euro).

Just finished a transaction through online Western Union. I used my Visa. Honestly, the fee was only about three bucks—nothing else tacked on. You lose a little bit on the exchange rate, but it’s nothing major. Just a heads-up: stay by your phone right after you hit submit because they’ll call you for a quick security check. They just ask a couple of questions and then you're good to go. You'll get an email once the transfer is processed and another one when the cash is actually picked up.

It's cheap and easy enough.👍

I gave my bank a call, and they told me they don't charge any fees whatsoever for online payments.

Is it actually true that the fee for Western Union is just about three bucks? And if so, is that amount in USD really what ends up being handed over in cash once you're in Canada??

I've tried clicking through the link below a few times now, and it keeps showing a $3 fee🤔

I’m trying to figure out if that really is such a low amount. Is the amount of Bad being paid out actually that high, or am I missing some hidden service charge they take on their end? I was planning on just paying online using my Visa debit card.

I could use some help here. This is my first time using Western Union online to send money over to Canada.
Is it actually possible that the fee is only three dollars on a 600 Euro transfer?
The system is showing me the final amount in USD at the end. Is that the actual amount the recipient will walk away with in cash at a local branch in Canada? Or is there going to be some extra cut taken by the office there?

Thanks!
