David Green11 said:It is an incredibly delicate balancing act to figure out how much of yourself you should actually reveal to your coworkers. When you consider that you might be sharing a workspace with the same group of people for eight hours a day, year after year, it’s practically inevitable that you'll eventually learn quite a bit about one another.
To give you a sense of my own situation: I work in a small office setting with three other people, making us a group of four. I have a wonderful rapport with one colleague—we get along famously during business hours, though we don't hang out outside the office—and my relationship with a second person is strictly professional. However, there is a third individual whom I simply cannot stand, and the feeling is entirely mutual. This person is a total gossip who can't keep a secret to save their life, constantly running around the office to recount every little thing they overhear in our room. It’s absolutely exhausting! I actually lost my cool and confronted her once about this behavior, but it backfired spectacularly; she managed to play the victim, painting me as the aggressor in my sudden outburst, and now my relationships with the rest of the team feel somewhat chilled.
If I had to offer any advice based on that headache, it would be this: aim to be perfectly pleasant with everyone, but maintain a healthy level of distance from everyone!

It sounds like you're describing my exact situation at my job, except there are only three of us.
Does anyone know who else is on the lineup?

Thanks, I'm going to download it and give it a shot.

I’m actually looking for the opposite, really. Is there a program out there that can take 10 random clips and stitch them back together into one seamless file?

For example, I have this 80-minute concert that’s been chopped up into 10 equal segments. They didn't bother with where the cuts happen, so some might be right in the middle of a song. I just want to merge them all back into a single video.

Thanks

Just bringing this thread back from the archives for a moment. I picked up the new single a few days ago, and since we still have some time before the album drops on July 7th...

It honestly made my day seeing them get back together. I just hope Billy finally realizes they can only ever be Nirvana. 😬
The ultimate tearjerker? in Movies ·
I definitely fall into this category. I found myself tearing up during The Legend of the Bear, watching A.I. (especially that scene where the kid finally gets to feel a mother's love for just one day), and even Harry Potter 4...

Those are just a few of the recent movies that had me sobbing.

And don't even get me started on the classics... they aren't really my thing. Anything involving heartbreak, a mother's devotion to her child, or animal movies where someone doesn't make it—if there isn't a happy ending, I probably shouldn't watch it. I'm not usually a crybaby, it's just that when I watch movies, I get way too invested, so I have to keep a box of Kleenex ready nearby.
Private messages aren't showing up in Forum Help! ·
For some reason, I spent a little time a few days ago saving those messages (not all of them, just the ones that meant something) and typing the numbers into my phone. Most people have me on MSN or AOL anyway, so it’s not a huge loss.

Still, I can't help but feel bad about losing the rest of them.

Maybe a miracle happens and we get them back... 🙂
Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!] in Health ·
I saw this coming back in middle and high school, honestly. My only saving grace was meeting a true friend in college who really helped me learn how to stop letting that kind of nonsense get to me. It’s all stupid, sure, but it still hits home when you're dealing with puberty... 😁
MoNi thanks.

Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!] in Health ·
I’ve been dealing with psoriasis since I was about six or seven years old—so, twenty-five now. Honestly, there isn't really a "cure," though some days are better than others. Some days it's just minor spots, and then there are those awful days where it looks absolutely terrible. Being near the ocean helps, and there's this unscented cream called Psorcutan that actually works, once your skin finally gets used to it...
Try to avoid stress as much as possible.
Don't take that state exam. 😁 😁
And everyone keeps telling you to just "get used to living with it." Like, how??? I can't quite wrap my head around that part...
The worst part was back in school when the weather started warming up. Everyone would be wearing short sleeves, and I wanted to, too, but then you'd run into some jerk who starts shouting that you have AIDS or something even worse. To this day, that kind of stuff still gets to me. 😢

Falling asleep during a movie like that... 😁
I really thought it would be better; the title was the only decent part about it.
