When you're washing your hair, throw in some silicone earplugs, like those Speedo ones, just to be safe. As for hitting the beach, ask your doctor first; I'm thinking you can probably go for a swim, but definitely no diving or snorkeling—and even then, keep an earplug in. But yeah, better to just run it by your doc before you do anything stupid.

Yeah, the wedding expo at the Lion is happening from February 19th to the 21st, 2010. Or maybe I'm tripping, I can't quite remember perfectly.

It was pretty rushed and kind of all over the place, and honestly, the runway show was nothing to write home about, but you can actually snag some decent info if you look for it—we were scouting out photographers, and they had guys like Mark, Matthew, and Microsoft, plus a few others. There was also Reid Jewelry, Vagus, Dwight, some balloon vendors (who were doing 20% off), a florist called Runner, Nicholas Bridal (they’ve got three skilled stylists and a tiny little catalog they hand out), and Mediterranean Sweets, which is basically everything I can remember.
It's not a bad idea to swing by just to grab business cards, brochures, deals, and get all that info straight from the source...

Does anyone have some fresh intel on the renovated Robot venue (food and service specifically)? I was there for a wedding ages ago right when they first opened, so my memory is pretty fuzzy, but the remodel looks incredible in photos... Also, I need the lowdown on Dolis Lesnina. We’re looking at a guest list of about 250 to 300 people, and I'm honestly stressing that it might be too cramped for dancing, especially since basically everyone is going to be out on the floor... I'd hate for things to feel claustrophobic. Plus, does the music from the adjacent hall (since they can join the two spaces) cause any issues?
Anyway, we're looking at $35 per head at Robot and $36 at Dolis...
