I’m honestly not sure if I should be freaking out here, but my last period was just... completely different from anything I've experienced before. Usually, it lasts about six or seven days, with those heavy cramps on the first day—well, they're usually moderate to intense—and I'm pretty heavy for the first three days, all within a standard 28 to 33-day cycle. But this time, it showed up right at the 29-day mark, and the cramps on day one were absolutely soul-crushing. I ended up taking two pills of my usual pain reliever—which normally only takes one to knock the pain out completely—and even then, it barely touched the misery, maybe cutting it by 20% at most... I spent the entire day stuck in bed because of the pain. It was still heavy, but then by the fourth day, everything just... stopped. How is it even possible for the duration to just get cut in half like that? Is this actually normal or am I looking at something else... 😕
Hey there! 😁 I’m looking for someone to chat with—ideally if you have Facebook, WhatsApp, or email—and maybe even build a friendship if we actually hit it off. I don't really care if you're male or female, as long as you're living in NYC or the surrounding area, under 25, and more of a talker. Also, please don't be one of those people who lives for clubs and bars, because I have absolutely zero intention of spending my time there... and please, spare me the lectures on your specific worldview; I feel like I've heard enough of that lately 🙄 A little about me: I'm 20, currently a student, and honestly, I'm not much for the usual small talk. I crave deep topics and actual, meaningful conversation. I'm really into psychology and spend a lot of my time buried in books on the subject; I'm always hungry to learn something new, since knowledge is everything 😁... I'm pretty open-minded, too, and I can tolerate different perspectives, even if we don't agree on every single thing. I'm definitely an introvert—on the surface, I might seem totally ordinary, but you'll eventually realize I'm anything but If any of this caught your eye and you're down for things like hiking, hitting up museums, some shopping, long walks, or even a movie every now and then, don't be shy about reaching out... I don't bite 😉
I’ve been shopping at Amadeus for over five years now, and honestly, they haven't changed a bit... everything is pretty much the same as it used to be, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I guess. But I really can't say anything about the quality of their newer collections since I haven't stepped foot in there for quite some time...
Does anyone happen to know what kind of fee they slap on you if I'm just moving money from my own account over to someone else's—assuming we both use Chase Bank—via their mobile app?
boldgardener48 said:Hey there! Quick question—where are you guys picking up your tights? I’m looking for the heavy-duty kind, at least 60 denier, matte finish, and with plenty of different patterns. Most importantly, they actually need to come in larger sizes like XL or XXL. I know Target carries some, but honestly, they are way too pricey if I want to stock up on a bunch of pairs. 😢
I used to hit up the big discount spots like Offertissima, the local marketplace, Kika, or even Pepco back in the day... but lately, I usually just head over to Victoria's Secret when they have their massive sales, though I honestly can't say for sure if they actually carry much in the way of larger sizes there...

Popcorn? Wait, what—please explain??? Are we talking chicken feet?? What’s actually in those? I’m assuming they're cooked and eaten? Is this supposed to help improve blood work? Now, bacon—I get that... I’ve seen it firsthand because several of my friends battling cancer swear by eating bacon to help them through... but please, just clarify this whole thing for me... because my son is dealing with some pretty severe anemia... his ferritin is sitting at a 2... so if there’s anything at all that might help, we’re willing to try anything... Bye!
Hey there. If anyone here has experience dealing with someone fighting glioblastoma, or if you've been through it yourself, please reach out via DM... I'm looking for any advice or insight you can offer, and I’ll be checking everyone's messages... I would be so incredibly grateful! Cheers.
