Can I use my Chase Visa Classic credit card on Kitbag, or whatever the hell they call it?
To be clear, it’s not just a standard debit card; it’s one of those cards where you get a month's grace period before the payment actually hits. Will they actually accept it when I'm trying to check out online?
Forget buying Adidas through their local US distributors.$183 A jersey is going to end up costing me around $80 online. It's a total rip-off, and there's basically $33no savings to be had.
Liverpool has officially inked a kit deal with some damn Americans based out of Boston. Apparently, Warrior Sports is going to be the brand behind the jerseys. Cool. Just so we're clear, the offers Liverpool made back home were pathetic, and now things are just getting even more bottom-of-the-barrel. I was actually starting to think these Americans might have some sense, but turns out it's the exact same garbage as hockey or Gillette.
Buying this online feels way too expensive to me. Right now, the only places selling it are the official sites. Plus, I’m honestly a bit paranoid about US Customs; I feel like those bureaucrats might try to slap me with a massive import fee, maybe like $200 $100. At the end of the day, dropping 100 bucks on a single jersey is just overkill. Maybe I'm just being overly cautious since I haven't done much international shopping before, but I think I'll just hold off for a while longer.
nimblemarlin9 said:Liverpool is absolutely dominant right now. You have to see how their home kit looks, but that away jersey 🙏 is something else.
The Liverpool home kit isn't changing this season either—they're basically reusing the design from the 2010-12 era.
But that away kit? It’s incredible. I absolutely have to get my hands on one. They’ll be playing in Los Angeles in about nine months, and that jersey is mine!
It feels like a massive club is finally starting to achieve some legendary things.
Chelsea shouldn't have gone with that white shoulder insert. It’s fine on the sides of the shorts, sure, but that white detail around the collar on the striped jersey? I just can't get behind it. It looks a bit much.
Just like Douglas Kern said, sayonara to Anheuser-Busch. What a joke. Honestly, props to Adidas. It’s pure classic, total simplicity. They're going to fly off the shelves.
this new Los Angeles Lakers kit looks absolutely phenomenal. Brenda Cook2, if you can, please post a photo of the Seattle Seahawks away kit. Honestly, that color combo is just pure pretension. A total disaster.
Has anyone here actually tried ordering jerseys directly from official English club websites or their online shops? I’m curious—how does the shipping and delivery process work these days? Any insights would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
Buying through the official club sites is totally safe. They’ll get it to you. It just ends up being a bit pricier. Shipping isn't really the issue—they show you everything and calculate the costs upfront.
The real headache is US Customs and the total crooks working there. A buddy of mine bought a Liverpool 95/97 training top and ended up getting hit with customs fees totaling $100!!!!
It's a joke. They just decide on a number and the guy has to cough it up. In the end, a basic training shirt cost him over $333. Honestly, it's not worth the hassle.
You'll need a credit card and then just follow the prompts. Happy shopping.😍
Back in my childhood, I had the absolute classic: a Pony special edition. My first real bike, about four years ago, was a Gary Fisher Tarpon. I rode that thing everywhere—from downtown Chicago all the way out to the suburbs, through Naperville, and even up toward the outskirts of Milwaukee. It never let me down once, even when I was tearing down those sketchy trails around the local parks and hills. About two years ago, I picked up a Gary Fisher Wahoo with Deore components. You can tell immediately it’s a step up from the Tarpon. It’s still an incredible ride, though I don't get out as much lately since my schedule is packed. I really need to run that thing into the ground, so I'm planning a trip out toward the coast or maybe somewhere near Austin. We'll see how it goes.
The next upgrade on my list is either a Gary Fisher Tassajara or one of those higher-end Marin models.
I stumbled into cycling almost by accident, but man, that feeling you get? There's nothing else like it.
Good old Adidas and that German engineering. When you see "Made in Germany," you know it’s the gold standard. Nike? Please... Nike has gone completely off the rails lately, and it's going to cost them big time. Just look at the new Liverpool kit. It’s a pure classic. That’s all there is to it.
The only thing the US government cares about is squeezing every last cent of sales tax out of this phone call. Seriously, when are these crooks going to stop playing games? I went through that earthquake back in Italy last year, and let me tell you, it was a complete disaster. This situation in Haiti is on a whole different level. It's always the poor who get hit the hardest. I have to give credit to Obama for how decisive and quick he was with the response. As for those gangs, honestly, let the Marines take care of them once and for all. The point is, we shouldn't talk down on America like it's useless; they aren't nearly as bad as people like to claim.
Hang in there, Haiti. At the end of the day, nature is the one in charge, not us.
