You really ought to be sipping on more fluids to stay ahead of dehydration, because let’s be honest, being dehydrated is just asking for those cramps to hit even harder than they already do; plus, I’d strongly suggest steering clear of anything "heavy" when it comes to food. I’ve also personally found that applying some warm compresses to the lower abdomen can make a world of difference.
