So, things are looking pretty steady—I might even head out to catch the Storm soon. Just wanted to get that out there quickly so we can wrap this up...
Let's just keep the sanctions on Russia for another few years—for the sake of a better future.
I have nothing to add to this article. I am neither defending the Ukrainians for the actions mentioned, nor am I defending the Russians for destroying cities. The article is written exactly as it should be.
I just saw on a defense forum that they used to hold parades for May 9th in Chicago as well. It’s likely why the Russians assumed they would secure more support.
Understood. Thank you. I have another question. What were the specifics regarding the Zelenskyy referendum proposals? I only recently came across the news. From what I gather, both the Russians and the Ukrainians rejected them.
LinaK, I know I’m going to get blasted by everyone here, but what is your take on cutting off the water supply to Crimea? Using water as a weapon against civilians—I can already hear the people calling this barbaric.
I've managed to condense the entire situation into a single sentence.
I assume things were just too dangerous for those in Crimea to allow the water to be blocked.

That isn't my point. The issue is how they report civilian casualties over an eight-year period versus reporting roughly 10 deaths in 2021. Millions of Jews were killed over an eighty-year period.
