Right now, I'm sitting at 25% with Allianz. But I just got an offer from Mount Rainier that basically doubles my old bonus. Honestly, the price looks incredible—I don't think I could find a better deal anywhere else. So, what's the verdict on Mount Rainier? Anyone know if they're actually reliable or if they have any issues?
Alright, I'll give it a shot that way and see how it goes..
So, I ended up turning it off after a bit. First, I just recorded some stuff and kept watching TV, then I shut it down just to see if it would still save the recording that way. There’s a 3.5GB file sitting on my USB, which means it definitely captured everything, but for some reason, I can't actually play it back. If turning it off mid-process had totally glitched it out, I doubt there would even be a 3.5GB file on the drive—I really don't think it would have eaten up that much space in just the first half hour.

They just record everything in some encrypted format that only works on that specific TV. Honestly, even if you have the exact same model, it often won't even play back what was recorded unless it's the very same unit used to record it.
So, here’s part one of the story. Part two? Well, the recording media actually has to be formatted by the TV itself. I don't think it's really an issue with the file system—I mean, there's no point in overcomplicating things like that. The TV successfully saved the movie onto your thumb drive, but when you try to play it back, it probably goes looking for those specific markers it leaves on the drive to confirm it was the one that formatted it. Since it can't find them, it just refuses to cooperate...
I don't think anyone has really dug into this yet. The encryption itself isn't exactly rocket science—you could probably crack it if you tried—but honestly, what's the point? It feels pretty pointless when practically every TV out there is unique anyway.
If you're running low on USB drives and really need a single external drive to work for both your PC and your Samsung Smart TV, here’s a little trick. You can actually split the drive into two separate partitions. Just set one up for your PC, then let the TV format the other partition so it stays strictly for its own use. Simple as that!
So, I tried recording something the other day, and right when I started, the TV asked me to format the USB. No big deal, I just did it. But then, I ended up turning off the TV mid-way through, and when I went to check the drive this morning to see what I actually caught on film... nothing. The TV says the drive is completely empty. It’s the exact same TV and the exact same USB as before, but man, zero results. Total bust.

I'm honestly a little nervous about installing any software that isn't fully polished yet. I really don't want to mess anything up.
It was recorded right on that exact TV, and now he can't even recognize the file himself at the end of it. I see the file sitting there, over 3 gigs, but I can't open it on my PC and the TV won't even pick it up.
I'd understand if this was some manufacturer protection meant to stop people from uploading stuff online, but this is a level of encryption where even the TV itself can't read it...🤦
From what I could tell while using the TV, there aren't any options to change the recording format at all..
I recorded a movie onto my USB drive using my Samsung Smart TV, but it saved in an SRF format and now I can't even open it. To make matters worse, the TV won't even recognize the drive when I plug it back in. What's the point of recording anything if it's stuck in some weird, obscure format?
I've got two issues going on.
1. My left knee is acting up. It hurts whenever I put weight on my toes—like when I'm getting out of bed or climbing stairs—but it doesn't really bother me while walking or running. The pain isn't right in the knee itself; I'd say it's more at the bottom connection where the knee meets the bone. Who should I see for an exam? Should I start with my primary care doctor?
2. My other issue is leg pain when it's bent for a long time. Basically, during long drives (like heading down to Miami), I get this pain on the bottom side of my knee. It feels like my tendons are tightening up, almost like something is being pulled tight in the crease of my leg. I have to pull over and stretch my leg out because the pain gets unbearable. Honestly, it only seems to happen while I'm in the car. Should I see a specialist?

I really need some extra hand wraps. My coach mentioned there’s this thing—sort of like leather gloves or specialized wraps you slide on first, then put your standard wraps right over them. I kinda beat up my knuckles recently, so he suggested getting those to really stabilize my hands. Does anyone know if they carry those here in the States? I checked the Prime website but couldn't find anything at all..
Look, I’m just a recreational lifter, but I went hunting for the "best" specifically so I wouldn't end up with some cheap junk that snaps after three workouts. All they told me was to make sure the gloves were actual leather and not some synthetic fake stuff...🤷
I'm looking for some boxing gloves, specifically 12oz. Can anyone tell me which brand is actually top-tier and where I could pick them up?
