America, without even a second thought!
I find myself agreeing with both redcanyon93 and driftingmaker...
For now, I suppose I still fall into the redcanyon93 camp. 😛
Though wouldn't it be nice to belong to the other group?
My cycle is acting strange lately. :|
I started at thirteen—it was my thirteenth birthday, actually 😬
. I can't recall how irregular it was in those early years, but for the last two or three, it was all over the place, maybe once every three months. Eventually, things leveled out and became predictable.
Now, this one arrived earlier than expected. My last period ended around January 2nd or 3rd, but this one showed up on January 22nd.
It caught me completely off guard. 🙄 It felt bizarre; I was just left standing there, stunned. 😁
I should also mention it ended quickly—hardly lasted three days, whereas it usually lasts six, with everything clearing up by day six or seven. Plus, I didn't have any cramps this time.
Strange, isn't it?
I got my period around 10:00 this morning, and by 11:00 I was stuck in the bathroom. It feels horrific; I’m pale, everything from the waist down is aching, and I'm completely spent. 😢
Never again am I facing this without Advil. If I let this happen once more, I might actually just die.
I had planned to finally get some cleaning done today. Instead, I can't do a single thing.
Is it just me, or does it get worse with age? It used to just be lower back pain, but now everything below my waist is throbbing so hard I can barely walk.
🙂
Today marks day one of my period. Usually, this first day is an all-day affair—constant, dull, and exhausting. I feel completely unwell.😬Even now, there’s pain, though I can manage.
But today was something else entirely. It lasted at least two hours, despite the Advil, chamomile tea, and soaking my limbs in hot water. I spent an hour stuck in the bathroom—stupid Advil, and I ran out of Ketonal. Nausea, lightheadedness, and this overwhelming sensation that I might collapse, even though I’ve never actually fainted in my life. I have never felt pain quite like this. Never.🙄
I’m starting to notice a pattern: as I age, these cycles become shorter but significantly more intense.
It’s peaceful now that the crushing pain has subsided. Such relief. It makes one truly appreciate being healthy, doesn't it?😍
A few days ago, my ovaries were aching for several days straight. Perhaps it was the cold I caught over the last month catching up with me.
I cannot afford to run out of Ketonal. How would I ever survive another day like this?😁
My period has recently become a regular occurrence—shorter, yet significantly more painful. On the first day, I am utterly useless. My entire body aches; it isn't an acute pain, but rather a heavy, lingering exhaustion. I simply have no strength left. 😁 Sometimes I find myself laughing hysterically at the sheer absurdity of feeling this drained. 😁 Yesterday was that first day.
Still, I suppose there is some solace in knowing it is more predictable and consistent than before. Finally.
I also frequently fall ill during PMS—a low fever, a sore throat. It usually passes in a few days, but lately... yesterday I started feeling unwell, and today is even worse. My throat hurts, making swallowing difficult. I feel exhausted, much like when one is truly sick. Does anyone else experience this? I haven't heard anyone mention it... it feels as though my immunity collapses right before my cycle begins. (Though, this time, the illness hit me on the very first day of my period.)
