I mean, logically, they really should, right? Or am I going to have to spend my entire week running from window to window at the Social Security office or some local DMV just to get everything verified manually???

I was just feeling a little unsure about whether they’d actually honor those e-prints—like, maybe they think it's just for your own eyes and not official enough—or if I'd end up having to go down to the local county office to pull everything manually. 🙂

Oh, I actually spotted those "keys" earlier, I just wanted to be extra sure before jumping in. Thanks so much! 🙏

I might be posting this on the wrong thread—sorry about that, guys, I’m just kind of in a rush to get some info.

So, basically, I’ve got my digital ID through the government portal, you know, like those official apps where you can pull up all your electronic records, birth certificates, work history, and stuff like that. Anyway, I'm looking at applying for a job soon, and I was just wondering if they’d actually accept those printed-out digital documents as legit proof, because I mean, logically they should be fine, right? Or am I going to have to spend my whole week running around from one DMV office to another just to get physical copies of everything?🤷

Thanks!

thanks so much!

I mean, maybe things will turn out fine for you (I really hope they do!), but honestly, once a doctor screws up like that, I just can't bring myself to trust them anymore. You've always got to go out and get a second opinion!

Like, here's an example: my future mother-in-law (I'm not even married to her son yet, haha) went in for an MRI, and they told her they saw these little clots in some vein leading to the brain, saying there was a huge risk of a stroke and she basically had to have surgery right away. Well, she decided to get a second opinion—which she did privately, because let's face it, MRIs aren't cheap—and they told her everything was actually totally fine, and as long as she keeps taking her blood thinners, the chances of a stroke are super low. She actually went to private specialists maybe two more times after that, and they all said the exact same thing. So, without checking, she would've gone through with a surgery for absolutely no reason at all 👎

Seriously guys, please do your homework and always double-check everything, because your health is worth way more than anything else!

neonorca84 said:Sorry, but why wouldn't you go to Pervan? I actually went to see her last week for a mole checkup, and she told me quite a few of them probably need to come out, though from what I could gather, nothing seemed super urgent, so I'm wondering...

Well, she kind of gave him the wrong treatment. My dear was dealing with hives—he looked like he’d fallen headfirst into a patch of poison ivy or something—and she didn't even recognize it until the very end. She actually had to call over a technician to take a look, which, I mean, hives are basically bread and butter in dermatology, right? It honestly felt like she lacked experience the first time we were there. And while I was busy Googling everything, I figured out what was going on immediately. Then, naturally, she kept prescribing all these different creams that just made the reaction flare up even worse, so, yeah, bad meds. Maybe some people think it's no big deal, but goodness, imagine if he'd gone into anaphylactic shock 😲 Not that I'd blame the doctor for that, obviously. Anyway, I'm not trying to trash her—I don't want anyone thinking I am—I'm just sharing what happened to us. But man, they can be incredibly rude at that clinic (the dermatology department).

Does anyone happen to know a solid female gynecologist around the Dubrava area—or honestly, anywhere else in Chicago—who actually takes Medicare and is currently accepting new patients? 🙂 I tried asking about this in another thread, but it’s pretty quiet over there and hardly anyone ever checks it.

To make it worth your while, I’ve got a great dentist recommendation for you—Dr. Hrvoje Blažić over at the Police Department Clinic—but on the flip side, I have one big "do not recommend": Arianna Pervan, the dermatologist at Dubrava Hospital; I'd definitely suggest avoiding her if you can help it.
