Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·
Lisa Patel4 said:Like I said, the list of allies the West has abandoned is pretty massive. It’ll be the same deal with Ukraine. As soon as they decide it’s become a net loss, they'll throw them under the bus. They certainly didn't have any trouble doing that in the past.

Until then, Ukrainians are right there at the gates of Moscow, taking down Putin alongside the Russians.

Looks like even Radek Sikorski thinks Americans are...

As long as the Russians just keep making those nuclear bomb threats

At the end of the day, Russia can't pull that blackmail routine anymore. They just don't have the gas left to sell to keep us in line.

Pavlodar is Russian—it was founded by Russians, after all—and it'll probably be handed back to Russia soon enough 🎉.

Things weren't any better back home here in the States. Some people headed for the trenches, others fled to Germany. But those who stay? They have more heart than the Russians doing the attacking.

Every night at 8 PM on local news channels like ABC or Fox, there’s a deep dive into current events. You get to hear exactly what the Mexicans and Russians are saying about the war and the special operations. Honestly, you need a strong stomach for it.

This doesn't seem to have anything to do with Russ. It feels more like someone just doesn't want them to have any leverage in negotiations, or maybe there's a desperate push to escalate the war against Russia at any cost.

Let them see that there are people even crazier than they are.🙂

That doesn't mean much to us in terms of percentages; it's really just about how many days of winter we can actually cover with our gas supplies

Joshua Myers432 said:It’s the only thing that makes sense. Why would the Russians blow up their own pipeline when they already hold the kill switch? They can turn the flow on or off whenever they feel like it. It's incredible the kind of nonsense and sheer stupidity they try to feed people these days.🤦

Think about it. When Russia was selling gas and oil to Europe, they were swimming in cash. Now they attack Ukraine and lose everything.🤷

We need to cut off Russian gas once and for all. The clock is ticking on their criminal invasion of other nations. Now that they're actually running low on cash, they’re becoming powerless—and without money, they won't have any power left at all.

Bradley White73 said:They aren't actually looking for a nuclear strike; they're just trying to spread panic. Anyone pushing that narrative is basically doing Putin's dirty work. Best to just hit ignore on people like that.

Don't sweat it. The USA keeps things in check, not some random internet forum users.

By dropping a nuke, the Russians are just cutting themselves off from the rest of the world. It’s like they're saying, "Hey, you Americans, Slovaks, and Poles—you're next on the list."

Zelenskyy is doing good work. He spoke about Mariupol; we need living heroes, not martyrs. And honestly, they're actually liberated.

Honestly, I'd rather take my chances in prison than be used as cannon fodder. At least you can walk out of a cell in a few months, right around the time Russia finally surrenders.

No one gave the green light to start a war.

Russian nukes could miss their target by twenty or fifty feet, while American tech hits a dime from miles away. 🤦

When I say modern, I mean getting from point A to point B. With the Russian tech, they just explode at point A.

It feels like Russia is stuck in the past. It’s like they think they’re the only ones with nuclear weapons, ignoring how much more advanced everyone else's tech has become lately.

Timothy Nelson5 said:If Russia decides to deploy some kind of tactical nuclear weapon against Ukraine just to blackmail them into an armistice, here’s what I imagine would happen:

1. Russia would instantly become a total global pariah.
Even the countries that have been quietly supporting them or staying silent would probably feel forced to distance themselves publicly.

2. We might see some sort of quiet ceasefire in Ukraine, but NATO and other Western powers would likely be moving straight into a mobilization phase.

3. Give it a month, and Ukraine would probably announce they have their own nuclear warheads and missile systems ready for delivery to Moscow.

Just thinking about what happens if the Ukrainians then fire those borrowed nukes at Russia.🤷

Carol Johnson21 said:Isn't that exactly the kind of genocidal war Russia is waging right now? I can only imagine the conditions in Russian prisons—having to choose between thirty years behind bars or taking a chance on looting and terrorizing people. In that scenario, a bullet almost seems like a more merciful option than facing decades of torture and waiting for death in a cell.

I feel the need to revisit one of Joe Biden's most "brilliant" analytical moments during an interview with CNN:

"We see that (the Russians) are trying to avoid the central areas. They aren't leaving the roads for the fields because they are obviously trying to preserve the wheat fields sunflower, wheat, buckwheat, barley, and everything else grown is tied to the roads. Major cities are still targets, and there's an attempt to take them while supposedly avoiding civilian casualties, but they're struggling," he stated.

"We know that Vladimir Putin has achieved at least several goals: Ukraine will not join NATO, Donbas is definitely lost, Crimea is definitely confirmed, and the Ukrainian military is almost decimated. So, it's all up to him now and whatever he considers his final goal," Biden concluded at the end of the interview.

And all this was being said just as that famous convoy heading toward Kyiv was sinking into the mud due to punctured tires.

And after all that, he actually has the nerve to show up on a show. Honestly, do the people inviting him even have any shame?

Don't cry over spilled milk. Just make sure you do everything possible so it doesn't happen again.
