Sam Green73 said:1. I'm sure you understand what anxiety is, but if you want to participate in a forum discussion, it helps to actually follow the intended structure of the debate.
Every question you've raised has already been addressed in that opening post.

2. Anxiety - General Discussion (Vol. IV) isn't meant for casual chatter; for that, we have the cocktail bar 'Psycho.Logitech' - small support group & chat.
Which, by the way, is clearly stated in the introductory message.

I totally get that everyone has gotten used to just hanging out and chatting, but that's not how this works anymore.
The people posting here should be those interested in the actual topic, not just using the thread as an emotional outlet.
It was hard to spot the serious contributors amidst all the constant chatter rolling through there, but they are definitely here.

3. Keep in mind that I've only been a moderator here for about six weeks, so please don't blame me for things that were already happening before I arrived.
Is anyone actually insulting you right now without consequences?

Fine, I respect the rules.

👍
Sam Green73 said:Take a second to actually read the introductory post in the Anxiety discussion.
"How are you?" is meant for casual chat/small talk/socializing.

On this forum, we have the freedom to stay on topic, not necessarily total freedom of speech.

Look, I know plenty about what anxiety feels like. I don't need a reading assignment.
When someone asks "how are you," they're asking how we're holding up mentally, not looking for aimless gossip.
You can't just go around deleting every single post because of one wrong word. Where does that even end?
Nobody’s going to want to post here anymore if this keeps up.

I really hate what you're doing to this thread. If people break rules, ban them. But stop hovering over us every five seconds just because one person keeps reporting posts that happen to offend them—or posts that don't meet your hyper-specific standards for what's "offensive."
Why wasn't anyone deleting anything when I was being insulted for months?

Talk about double standards!!
Hey Sam Green73:

What's with the constant link dumping whenever someone just asks "how are you guys doing?" (Anxiety)?

It makes zero sense that every single post gets nuked like I'm not even allowed to ask anything here.

Feels more like a dictatorship than actual free speech.😵
William Gonzalez3 said:Guys, my knee is killing me. I'm in my mid-thirties and already falling apart.

X-ray results are in:

The bone structure and mineralization look totally solid.

The TF joint space is narrowing, mostly on the medial side.

Both my tibial plateaus are flattened and sclerotic. Just great.

Just a tiny bit of impinging on the intercondylar eminence. Just my luck.

Just some medical jargon for "bone rubbing against bone." My doctor loves dropping terms like that just to make me feel like I'm losing my mind.

Just got my results back. Apparently, I’ve got subchondral bone sclerosis on my patellar articular surface. Basically, my kneecap is turning to stone. Great.

Fabela.

Are they going to amputate my leg? Should I start shopping for a wooden one?

Haha.
My knee has been acting up for two years now. Every few months, it swells up like a balloon and stays that way for a couple of weeks. Apparently, I trashed my ligaments. Even after taking some Baker's solution, the cartilage is shot. Now the other one is starting to flare up too. Great.
So I finally just accepted that I’m way too heavy for my own knees, haha.

Smoking while on the pill is a terrible idea, especially if you fall into a high-risk category (like being over 30, overweight, etc.). I can't even remember exactly how much it spikes your cancer risk. I totally blanked on that once and smoked five or six cigarettes in one night right before my period, but I'm not a regular smoker, so I'll probably live.🤣

Thanks for the heads up! I'm not in the high-risk group—I'm 23 and at a perfect weight, basically a textbook case. Besides, I only plan on being on this for a month anyway. I did have cervical cancer, which is why my dosage is set this way.
Hey everyone,

So, I just started taking Diane 35 because my PCOS is acting up and I haven't had a period in five months. I used them way back in the day for the same thing. I'm 23 and, honestly, I'm a heavy smoker. I originally planned on just trying them for a month—since I’m not exactly a fan of flooding my body with chemicals—but nothing "natural" worked, no matter what I tried. Quick question: do I seriously have to quit smoking entirely, or can I just cut back? Because, let's be real, I actually enjoy my cigarettes. I'm pretty terrified of that whole thrombosis thing everyone keeps warning about.
Thanks!
Hey there!
So, I've been dealing with constant bladder infections for about two years now. I finally went in for some tests this morning: ultrasound, urine analysis, culture, and CRP.

Here’s what I got back:
Bloodwork: slightly elevated basophils (1.4)
Urine: WBC 1-3, RBC 1-3 fresh, plenty of squamous epithelium, lots of bacteria, some mucus, slight protein turbidity, ketones positive
CRP: 0.1

Can anyone make sense of these results?
