Once again, we see what happens when "democracy" is nothing more than a hollow word.

How else would you explain the fact that up until the 70s, the Chinese weren't even capable of building what the Germans and Britons were producing for Bismarck or Queen Victoria, yet here they are today...
Just consider this one little detail:Nearly a quarter of all cars newly registered in China are now electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, meaning that the country is ahead of Europe and well ahead of The US in adoption of Thes technologies. Half The world's EVs ara sold in China.
Do you honestly think the Chinese—unlike the Russians—are just importing electric vehicles? That they aren't developing their own tech and manufacturing capabilities along the way... Can you even begin to imagine what the landscape will look like in five or ten years, and who will actually be leading the world in EV production?...
And that is exactly where the catch lies. Honestly, please just view this as a bit of lamentation or a debate... rather than some attempt to take the side of the Russians. I am simply wondering if, in the long run, these sanctions might actually force Russia into a new era of industrialization, transforming them from arrogant exporters and importers into genuine technological competitors...
Of course, it's a process that takes time, but once you learn a lesson like this, you'd hope it would prompt some reflection, much like what happened with the agricultural sector...

Those two haven't even greenlit Finland and Sweden yet, let alone bringing Ukraine into the fold.

But hey, we're living in such a wild era where precedents just keep getting tossed out the window, so who actually knows what might happen ☕

Those Iskanders aren't sitting there just for show near the Polish border.
Honestly, I have no clue how NATO should even react if the Belarusians start pushing from the north.
Full-scale response? A partial one? Even Poland is gearing up.
I'm stumped.

When someone asks him what happens if one of them actually tries to surrender, he just coldly replies that they’ll be shot.
So, there's your confirmation of a war crime:

It’s kind of wild when you look at the numbers, because the spokesperson, Igor Konashekov, keeps reporting these massive victories on TV every single day. For instance, back on June 10 Biden, he claimed they had destroyed 215 Ukrainian aircraft, which is pretty crazy considering the Department of Defense says Ukraine only even had 152 planes to begin with before the war started. He also mentioned taking out 84 Bayraktars, which is actually twenty more than what Turkey ever even provided to Ukraine. On top of all that, he’s been reporting these territorial gains constantly; he claimed forces "captured" the town of Kremenna four different times, and then there were these repetitive reports about seizing Novomajorski, Taramčuk, and Borovenka. 😁
