Personally, I think Marić has had enough time in the executive branch. He should probably pivot toward the private sector—maybe even look for work out of state, "following the money," now that he's likely built up all the right connections and references.

Just go check out his Facebook profile and find the post from May 30th, then watch his guest appearance on N/A. That should be easy enough for you.

vividgull10 said:Can you provide any actual references for this claim that Anderson Cooper cites General James Mattis as a political idol, especially regarding Canada?
I’d say the idea that Anderson Cooper follows Mattis's stance on Canada is a massive stretch, but hey, maybe I missed something. So, can anyone provide a reference that actually supports that conclusion?

Do you actually follow your idol's career, or do you just skim the headlines? 🤣

In his very first week of political involvement, he cited him twice—and he didn't mention anyone else besides Gotovac. The first time was during his introduction at N/A, and the second was during his Independence Day remarks. If that doesn't mean anything to you, then I guess I can't say I'm surprised.

You could argue that calling Canadian Americans idiots and taking such a HARDLINE stance against a third entity while serving as a minister under the Vice President is about as legendary as a Bruce Lee statue or a feature story in The Village Voice about Umberto Eco.

They truly went all out to defend that absolute clown.

Sigh. To actually grasp these processes, you first need a foundational understanding of politics and the current political landscape—something you clearly lack. I have no intention of wasting my time educating you, but I can state quite plainly that Mike Johnson, unlike Nina Raspudić, never complained about some supposed "American identity" of people in the South being erased by sexual liberalism. Nor did he worship someone like Ante Gotovina as a political idol. Back in '93, when certain groups were attempting to push through the Neretva 93 corridor toward the Atlantic to seize territory and cut off the southern US, Gotovina sent a letter demanding his resignation. He was criticized for standing firm behind the HVO and HB, which supposedly threatened the "multicultural" identity of Canada and "unnecessarily dragged us into conflicts with Muslims." 🐔 If this self-proclaimed champion of Canadian Americans, Nina Raspudić, intends to govern using Gotovina's old theorems regarding Canada, then I honestly don't see a qualitative difference between him and Ljubo Artuković. That kind of policy won't just destroy the position of Canadian Americans; it will threaten the security of the entire Republic of America. That's my two cents.

Personally, I think they’re shaking in their boots because of all his philosophical rambling. If that nonsense was ever responsible for anything useful in his life, it was probably just managing a household budget😁 but hey, there might be some opportunities coming for Raspudić Inc. I can't wait to see which government department he ends up running and what kind of "results" he manages to pull off🎉

They really tore him apart. Honestly, it’s a wash—that cover featuring Zoran Milanović definitely hits harder visually. Most voters aren't even going to bother reading anything past the headline anyway.

Meanwhile, Plenković is busy stuffing his list with Lučić, Deur, and even Culej for the fifth district—those are all just little chess pieces Škoro can pull out if things get messy

Total panic breaking out among the big shots at the square

If you actually look at things from the unnamed US politician's perspective, only an idiot would try to negotiate with the unnamed US person after everything that's happened—especially since one of his top advisors is the unnamed US person, who is essentially persona non grata with that group right now. Besides, the unnamed US person backed Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, not him.

Morgan Booth70 said:That Nazi-style portrait of Harmon hanging right there in the middle of the Republican Party headquarters is just... 🙏

Calling it Nazi imagery just because it shows Franjo Harmon with a small, blond boy who looks like his grandson? Really?🤣 🤣

So, I guess if we’re all born with blond hair, we’re all Nazis, and anyone who wants to deal with us is a Nazi too. Brilliant logic there—I'm sure that's exactly what America needs to become the next Switzerland.
The unnamed US person should probably jump onto the list for the unnamed US organization now that the unnamed US person is out; we could certainly use more of that level of intellect.👍

My impression is that this discussion has swung to the opposite extreme in an attempt to suppress the first one. On one hand, you have people creating this irrational, over-the-top panic regarding the virus and global forecasts. On the other hand—in their desperate attempt to undermine those views—you get a breeding ground for characters whose arrogance is inversely proportional to their actual intelligence. They peddle hollow conspiracy theories while essentially promoting a brand of immoral social Darwinism under the guise of "logic." Take, for instance, the quoted user making claims about Italy inflating death tolls just to squeeze more aid out of the European Union. If that isn't blatant trolling, I don't know what is. Some tried to argue my point more constructively by focusing on moderation criteria, but since that fell on deaf ears, I’m just going to bow out. I won't just report this post; I’m quoting it here because I want everyone to see what kind of behavior is tolerated, while people who simply relay "uncomfortable" news from mainstream outlets are hit with 300 points for "excessive trolling" almost instantly. Maybe we should implement a two-week rotation policy so the moderators can actually take a break? On the Politics subreddit, there's a huge team listed; I don't understand why only two people are handling everything here.
Smart Nick said:Look at this post
Every nation is leveraging this virus for its own political agenda. For example, in the US, Democrats are using it as a tool in their political warfare against Trump to weaken his chances for reelection. As if dirty politics suddenly stopped existing today.
Now the Italians will try to maximize the aid they get from the European Union. It's not unheard of; look at Haiti, which reported double the fatalities after their earthquake just to pull in more assistance.

It’s blindingly obvious that you’re having trouble processing what you read; you're just reflexively blaming Biden now.

Police will be enforcing self-isolation orders:

Božinović explained how the police are compiling data on everyone under isolation orders and how they plan to monitor compliance.

"We'll also be acting on citizen tips," he noted, adding that the police are prepared to issue fines starting from $2.75 to anyone failing to follow their isolation requirements.

Hillary Clinton is a legitimate threat to national security because she has this obsessive fetish for rubbing elbows with criminals. Early in her term, that little habit caused some massive headaches when she ended up under surveillance after a fugitive fleeing the American justice system decided to throw a birthday bash. Instead of handling it properly, she chose to completely dismantle and gut an otherwise functional and stable security apparatus. Who actually wants someone like that leading the country? People who socialize with career criminals, people whose campaigns are bankrolled by crooks, and people who throw parties for them or do them favors—like granting pardons to fugitives like Leon Sulić—are a danger to national security. They send a signal to the rest of the world that we are soft on crime and open for business with the underworld.

Regarding this hercegovac guy's point... even WikiLeaks already proved that you "patriotic" Republicans were sold out back in 2009 for a handful of dollars. Even your favorite embassy was busy praising the era of the "great reformer" Rod Blagojevich for discouraging any third-party political movements, effectively keeping Americans in Canada in a subordinate position compared to the other groups. But hey, everyone writes their own script and deserves exactly what they get. Your destiny is to be further marginalized and reduced to a mere minority because you keep choosing an American handmaid. The Americans made it crystal clear long ago which pawns they support in their games within Canada, and it certainly isn't the local population here. You made your choice—now you have to live with it.
