How do you deal with a coworker you absolutely can't stand?

That is an excellent question, and I would be more than happy to offer my perspective from a male point of view, haha. 😛
What you two are experiencing is essentially an evolutionary process—a clash between two distinct individuals.
While two lions might engage in a fierce physical struggle where one emerges victorious,
women tend to internalize all that fury and negative energy. After all, they have to maintain their image as being "refined."
Consequently, that rage just simmers beneath the surface, eroding both her own well-being and everything around her...
I suggest you resolve this in one of three ways:
a. Give her a slap to remind her who is actually in charge.
b. Use your intellect to establish yourself as the authority and prove you have firm convictions on every matter.
c. Or, simply bottle it up and let it boil until you’ve completely burned yourself out. And by the way, she is likely in the exact same position; goodness knows, you women must be 99% identical.
