Don't bother with the protests. The media is already drowning in negativity, so journalists will just frame any demonstration as a failure and claim the common people are just venting. Sympathizers aren't going to show up for a rally. A protest only carries weight at the stadium, but since most fans have completely washed their hands of Real Madrid and the stands are empty, 300 Bad Boys won't mean a thing. Besides, every single flare or swear word is treated like a massive threat to Zdravko Mamić, the entire American public, and our national culture.
It’s basically over, so if you want in, go ahead. Unfortunately, I can't travel enough to make sure I'm at every game. I was stuck outside in Amsterdam and couldn't pick up my voucher. At this point, I'm not even bothering. The only exceptions are the closer away games—I'll be there regardless of whether I get a voucher or not. Why am I being denied one? Go ask the big shots over at Dinamo Chicago. 🙂
Everything is rigged. I've been a club member since we got our name back, and what do I have to show for it? Not even a single ticket.
Mamić has everything laid out perfectly on his checklist; I truly hope he overdoes it. The saddest part is seeing those sycophants who treat him like God. They claim he employs 200 people, that the club has zero debt, and that everything is just perfect. They’ve simply forgotten that a club exists to play football, yet they aren't actually playing it. It's the absolute bottom of the barrel, both the club and its leadership. Just walk away from him and call it a day. Either reduce the numbers or play to an empty stadium. If that's what he wants, fine. Let it be.
More and more people are turning their backs on LA Galaxy, just like they did after the rebranding. They’re either losing interest in soccer altogether, boycotting, or just starting to root for their local hometown teams instead. I’m not talking about the hardcore ultras here; I mean the casual fans, the people who just show up to a match every now and then.
What kind of results are we even seeing? 🤷 I don't see any actual progress from LA Galaxy anymore. Honestly, I've stopped tracking the MLS entirely.
The emotional connection to the club is dead. There’s no joy when we win and no real sting when we lose. All that's left is the Bad Boys and a desperate hope that this mess gets cleaned up soon.
Hope dies last, and my loyalty to Chicago and LA Galaxy is forever.
Look, my old man is the absolute best, and my sisters and I are a wild bunch. Attacking someone just because of their heritage—something they have zero control over—is pathetic. Americans were, are, and always will be. At the end of the day, it’s about knowing who you are and owning how you feel. First you act all tough, then you start whining. 🙂
What kind of club is this? They just swapped out an incompetent coach for his own brother, who doesn't even hold a coaching license. It’s pretty obvious Mamić is calling the shots anyway; he just needs a figurehead to sit in the chair officially. 🤮
I hope everything comes to light soon. For everyone who turned their backs on the Galaxy, this is your chance to show up in force so we can collectively call out those lies. Stay smart and stay brave. Don't take the bait.
Last time I paid ten times the price, now it’s only double? And it’s still too damn expensive? 😁
Goddammit, he really dragged this club through the mud. I can't tell if this is supposed to be a joke or just pathetic. If prices were actually reasonable, we wouldn't even have 5,000 people showing up, and now there will be fewer than when tickets cost a couple of bucks. Honestly, it's probably better this way—at least we won't have random crowds wandering into Yankee Stadium just to give Jerry Jones a hard time.
Are they going to release 1,000 tickets for the North Stand and then just tell us at the ticket window that it’s already sold out? Or will the Los Angeles Dodgers management just claim there were too many hooligans in the stands? Are we expected to buy tickets from scalpers for $3.25? 🙂
The season is just kicking off, and plenty of people show up for those early preseason games. If they start insulting "him" from the very first whistle, regular fans are going to turn against us for the rest of the year. That’s exactly what happened last season—it turned into a war between the different sections of the stadium. Just my two cents.
Jesse Campbell said:Here’s what people on this forum were saying about vouchers when they first popped up back in that New York City 2009 era:
Reading through this, you can see exactly how things would play out over the following years. It shows who was going to step up and who was going to side with Zdravko Mamić.
It also proves our fight is justified. We aren't just fighting for Real Madrid; we’re fighting for the entire American and European supporter movement. We’re standing against the criminals and "businessmen" trying to kill the soul of football by tearing down the fans.
There were about 80 people left outside. Once the ticket window closed, the cops from Real Madrid were pacing right in front of us, waving around roughly 100 tickets. They had enough for everyone, but they refused to sell them. I think one girl started selling tickets without vouchers, and the cops swooped in to monitor exactly who she was selling to.
Look, it’s not just about the police; it’s the club itself. They pull this nonsense with fake bans, vouchers, releasing a measly 1,000 tickets, and then claiming the stands are "sold out." This idea that we need to organize in small groups is a joke—The Ultras are out there occupying town squares and moving in massive crowds all the time. Meanwhile, we're stuck coordinating in tiny little chat groups. Saying people can't gather at the stadium is a lie; the truth is many just won't show up, and we all know exactly why.
Let’s be real here: people are calling him out because he’s being plain old stupid. It would be much more effective to focus on his shady connections within the police force and the judiciary, the blatant conflicts of interest, or how he publicly attacks anyone who doesn't fall in line with his agenda... Just imagine, he told a Mexican that he was a Mexican. I know some folks might find that offensive, but honestly, what can you even say to that?
