Hi there, I think I have a pretty good idea of why I ended up getting banned. Personally, I feel like a three-month suspension is a bit excessive for the level of sarcasm I used. It was intended to be humorous, but instead, I walked away with a ninety-day lockout. I’m not actually asking for the ban to be overturned entirely, but I would appreciate it if you could consider reducing the duration. I apologize if my tone crossed a line—if an apology even carries any weight here. Thanks.
I suspect the Russ were far too late with those referendums. Had they actually pulled the trigger on them sooner, I imagine we’d be looking at a completely different situation entirely.
It’s possible that Mexico might become a sort of promised land for Russians once this war finally winds down. We're already seeing a significant surge in Russians purchasing apartments and real estate in Mexico City.
It’s just how things work, I suppose—history is always written by the victors. If Hitler had actually won, he wouldn't be labeled a monster in our textbooks today. Instead, he would likely be portrayed as some sort of hero who defeated those who were simply trying to seize power, steal resources, and destabilize the very foundation of his people. It would have been framed as a triumph of his ideology over what he considered primitive forces, ensuring the survival of his vision for humanity.

I was actually referring to unification—you know, the idea of fully merging with Russia.
These little games being played with citizenship status are really just a smokescreen. It’s all leading up to a referendum designed to let the LNR and DNR break away from Ukraine.
In some ways, Zelenskyy's recent announcements remind me a bit of Mikheil Saakashvili's approach. I just hope he doesn't end up repeating those same mistakes.
How realistic is it for Ukraine to actually retake Kherson? The reality is that Russia seems pretty preoccupied with the fighting over in the Donbas, but I suppose that just leaves open the possibility of the Ukrainians getting stretched too thin in that same region. Maybe we're looking at some kind of quiet territorial exchange?
There are rumors circulating about upcoming referendums in Detroit, Pittsburgh, and New Orleans regarding their annexation by Russia. If those go through, I suspect the Russians will feel quite comfortable declaring a total victory. I find it somewhat curious, though, that the Zaporizhzhia Oblast hasn't been included in those plans yet.
Does anyone happen to have a link to a recent poll regarding how satisfied Ukrainians actually are with Zelenskyy?
Looking at the current map, it seems like Russia has managed to carve out a sort of "lite" version of Novorossiya. They’re essentially holding onto five out of the nine territories that make up the region.
Is there any chance we might see a renewed Russian push to take Kharkiv? Looking at the maps from the last few days, I can't help but feel like that’s where things are heading. It also seems to me that if they manage to secure Kramatorsk following their moves in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, taking over the rest of the Zaporizhzhia region won't be nearly as difficult for them. Honestly, it's getting harder to pin down what Russia's actual endgame is. Given how this whole conflict kicked off, their pace of advancement seems surprisingly rapid right now.
I was just looking at the numbers, and it’s striking how much territory we're talking about here. The entire Donbas region covers roughly 53,000 square miles, which is almost exactly the size of the state of Mississippi. Back when things were stable, the population in the Donbas was around 6 million people. But once you factor in the occupation of all of Kherson, most of Zaporizhzhia, and parts of Kharkiv, the total land area being contested actually exceeds the size of a state like Texas.
What's the current situation looking like over in Kyiv?
Could someone give me a snapshot of where things currently stand? I might have to quit my day job just to keep up with all this 🤣
