Basically, it’s a microcapsule designed to release slowly over time, providing long-lasting relief for dogs or cats by using Valerian. It works wonders at calming them down. A lady I know actually tried it out and swears it's an incredible product.
I have this constant phobia that someone is always lurking nearby.
Nicole Myers said:The firework fanatics really get on my nerves too—they totally overdo it. I think they’re going to start setting them off any second now. I just don't get the obsession with explosions, especially when people throw them at your feet and laugh because you got scared. Honestly, feels like pure sadism. 🙄
I love watching fireworks, though; at least you know they won't last for a whole month. Maybe they would if they weren't so expensive! 😬
My poor dog used to be terrified every single New Year's Eve, shaking like a leaf. He’d just curl up under the coffee table with his ears tucked back, poor thing. For the last few New Year's celebrations, I spent the whole time in the hallway just comforting him. 😢
Napi, even our dog wasn't afraid of the noise when he was young; the fear only developed later on. How old is your Goldie now?
What do you guys put on top? I usually go with a star, but a blue one that's smaller than the one in the gif. 😁
Let’s talk about Christmas fireworks... Honestly, I am so over these kids running around selling firecrackers, or even worse, their dads letting them set them off in the middle of the street instead of the backyard. It's dangerous. Personally, I absolutely hate it because I jump out of my skin every time we're driving along and suddenly a firecracker goes off like a literal bomb. It's infuriating. The only time you should be setting off fireworks is at midnight when we're ringing in the New Year. Not before, and definitely not after.

I already said we should stop typing so much and just post pictures instead! Come hang out in our late-night thread—it's nothing but colorful photos and the occasional haiku. 😁
Nicole Myers said:I actually have this "tree" in my garage that I made out of an old TV antenna! I sprayed the whole thing silver, and if I don't come up with anything better, I'll just decorate that. I've got some white shells, silver garlands, and maybe a few ornaments, and it’ll look great. It’s super practical since it’s flat and doesn't take up much space.
I could totally DIY that second tree too. One summer, I collected some river stones and kept them all. I could just wire them together with some fishing line and hang them on the wall.
That is just beautiful! 😍
I have this phobia where I feel like someone is always standing right near me.
Grace Anderson3, you totally reminded me of how I went all out last year with paper snowflakes on every single window! Honestly, cutting them out was such a blast. They looked so pretty that I actually left them up for an extra two months. Well, the glue dried completely and they were a nightmare to peel off—I was swearing under my breath saying "never again!" But honestly, I’ve already forgotten the struggle, so I think I might just do it all over again this year.
Oh man, I am loving this one! 🎉
this one too 🎉
They're a little glittery. Not quite my style. The idea is cool, but... haha

Up until last week, we weren't even sure if we’d be getting a tree here in Washington, D.C.—since I don't celebrate Christmas in the traditional sense—but I was pretty insistent, so now we're heading over to IKEA to pick one out! The little guy is an artificial one in a pot. But he's so cute. I've already finished shopping for jewelry and even grabbed the tree topper today, so it's going to look gorgeous. I also sorted out the Christmas tablecloth, and we're planning to grab some coasters while we're at it. I'm really hoping they have some gold ones. Plus, I'm going to make a little jar filled with fairy lights. Poor thing has no idea what he's in for.

That’s true, but I still haven't figured out how you guys plan on decorating the tree or setting the table. And do you have any outfits picked out yet?
