Honestly, how can people be so dense? Discord isn't some traditional message board; it functions more as a gathering place for virtual friends from all over the country. We all actually know one another, which means you don't deal with the sea of anonymous users you typically find on a standard forum.

Honestly, I told him straight to his face that I was going to report him, and now I’m actually kicking myself for not taking more screenshots beforehand. Look, I might be a bit of a masochist, but even I have my limits. Is it worth sacrificing your passion just to avoid disappointing your parents? After all, many parents seem to view their children merely as vessels to fulfill their own unachieved ambitions. I write because it allows me to reach certain insights; writing is magical. For me, it serves as a form of psychotherapy, which is fitting since I am currently in therapy. I’ve even started attending spiritual workshops led by a practitioner. It’s all part of the process of healing, because when you truly work on yourself, you address the things you suppressed just to avoid disappointing your parents, your spouse, or to justify going through college just because society says you have to.
