In my opinion, you should just ditch the 2600XT altogether. It honestly makes more sense to put that money toward something like a 4850—it’s a much better value than trying to squeeze any extra life out of another 2600XT. You aren't going to see double the performance by doubling up, so...

Let’s be honest here—a warranty isn't going to do you much good once your drive actually dies and takes all your data down with it...
Every single disk is a ticking time bomb, really. It doesn't matter which manufacturer you go with; you can always run into that one stroke of bad luck where, out of everyone else, yours is the one that suddenly gives up the ghost and drags terabytes of precious files into the void.

Razer Krait help! in Computer Peripherals ·
Exactly—it basically gives you the freedom to swap your DPI settings on the fly. Razer DeathAdder vs. Razer Diamondback 3G? in Computer Peripherals ·
There aren't any hard and fast rules here. It really comes down to preference—some people prefer making big, sweeping movements and want a mouse that lets their hand relax, like the Razer DeathAdder, while others prefer tighter, more precise micro-adjustments and opt for something smaller, like the Diamondback 3G. Both mice are top-tier; it’s strictly a matter of which one feels more ergonomic for your specific grip during those long gaming sessions. Personally, I’ve been using the Razer Lachesis and I couldn't be happier with it, though I know plenty of folks find it a bit too small for their liking. Honestly, the smartest move is to just head to a local Best Buy or drop by a buddy's place to get both in your hands—once you actually feel them, the choice becomes obvious. 🙂
3D printing setups: what are you guys running? in Computer Peripherals ·
I know the FBI actually has a rapid prototyping machine—which is really just a fancy way of saying they have a 3D printer—but you’d probably have to give them a serious call first just to see if they’d even consider printing something for you.
