Contact lenses in Health ·

Thank you so much for such a detailed response.
It turns out my doctor prescribed soft contact lenses for me. She immediately gave me a solution called Acuvue Moist to go with them. I let the lenses soak in it overnight, and right before putting them in, I rinsed them out with some saline solution... but the second they touched my eyes, I felt this intense stinging sensation. It was exactly like getting shampoo in your eye! I called her office right away, and she told me to stop using that specific solution and instead switch to Complete along with some Bausch + Lomb contact lenses for artificial tears, just like you suggested... so I'm going to give that a shot. I really hope everything turns out okay.
thanks again so much🙂

Could someone please give me some advice? I just started wearing contacts a few days ago, so I'm wondering if it's okay to wear sunglasses during the day while having my lenses in? Also, can I do aerobics with my contacts on... does any kind of intense physical activity interfere with them? Everything is so new to me right now and honestly, I'm just lost, so I'm asking you all for a few pointers... thhhankss

👍 This movie is absolutely fantastic—I was totally blown away... (and of course, I already caught it on Netflix about a month ago without any dubbing)
Hair loss help? in Health ·
I personally tried using Nutrival capsules, and I found they really helped make my hair look much "healthier" and more vibrant. My best advice? Give your hair a break from all those heavy styling gels and just let it breathe for a while.
Beyond that, you should definitely keep an eye on your diet, since nutrition plays such a massive role in the health of your hair and nails...
Of course, if this is just something tied to your genetics, then believe me, there isn't much you can do to fight against that.
Best ways to get rid of cellulite? in Health ·
Cellulite is incredibly tough to get rid of because, honestly, it’s just a natural part of having skin... Men tend to deal with it a bit less than women do. You can try to fight back by cutting out processed foods as much as possible, avoiding sweets (that part is non-negotiable!), and making sure you're drinking plenty of water. On top of all that, you really ought to carve out at least 20 minutes every single day to exercise and just get moving...
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I really hope you take the time to sit down and have a serious consultation with your gynecologist regarding starting birth control pills. Speaking from my own personal experience, I truly believe it’s vital to get some blood work done—specifically liver function tests—before you even think about popping those tablets, because let's be honest, they aren't suitable for everyone. I've seen cases where breasts become enlarged, or some girls suddenly deal with intense unwanted hair growth... It is just so important to get those blood levels checked first. That being said, I am personally a fan of the pill, as it worked wonders for me in regulating my cycle, which used to be a total mess...
Greetings
Hair washing tips? in Health ·
From my own experience, I can tell you that washing your hair every single day isn't necessarily bad for it. Personally, I wash mine every, every day—and sometimes even twice a day.
I would definitely suggest sticking to gentle shampoos. I personally use Dove for color-treated hair and I am completely satisfied with the results. Also, don't forget that your diet plays a huge role; the condition of your hair really depends on what you're eating.
