Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Charles Ramirez59 said:What makes you feel like your body is tired of the pills, and why would you want to take a break after only a year?

Before switching to Triquilar, I was on Yasmin for six months and those things absolutely wrecked my system. I stuck with Triquilar so everything could level out—realistically, I’ll probably hit the two-year mark on them. bluerider62 is planning to take a little breather now, maybe until New Year's, before having to head back to the gynecologist. After that, we'll see if I go back on them or try something more natural. ☕
Before starting the pill, my cycle was a disaster (I'd go three months without a period), but once I started them, everything became regular—almost to the day. Now I'm wondering, how long did it take for your periods to return after stopping?? I read somewhere that one girl didn't get hers for six months. 🤷

Hey everyone!😉
Since I haven’t been following this recent debate about birth control, I was wondering if you could tell me how your bodies felt after you stopped taking the pill? I’ve been on Triquilar for about 1 to 3 months now—using it for both irregular periods and contraception—and I’m thinking about taking a break. I feel like my body is already getting a bit "tired" from them, even though I don't have any major symptoms. I’d like to pause for a few months. How long did you all wait for your first period after stopping?

If possible, I'd love to hear from girls who used specifically Triquilar, but any comments are welcome!
