Where do I even begin 😁
Lately, I’ve been sitting here thinking about this one specific idea that just keeps drifting through my mind—it’s like those headless, chaotic hordes from some old sci-fi flick, sort of reminiscent of Korni Group
I was sitting on my porch yesterday, just watching the shadows stretch across the lawn, when I started thinking about how much everything changes without us even noticing, and it really made me wonder about what people actually value when they sit down to type out their thoughts online. You know, it’s funny how we spend so much time building these digital personas, almost like we're curating a museum of ourselves, while the actual, messy reality of our lives—the burnt toast, the late rent, the way the light hits the street in autumn—just stays in the background. I found myself scrolling through some old messages from years ago, and it felt like reading a letter from a stranger, which is a bit haunting if you think about it too long, but I suppose that's just the nature of growing up, isn't it? We drift, we evolve, and eventually, we become someone else entirely, and I wonder if anyone else feels that quiet, steady pull of time, or if everyone else is just as caught up in the noise as I sometimes feel I am. kaže:
Hey, just checking in to see how you're doing, like you asked.😉 I finally got Diane back.😁😁 She told me she’d give them to me even though I don't deal with PCOS anymore, but said I still need to get my Vitamin C and AT III levels checked. I honestly have no clue what that last one even is, but apparently, you just head down to the lab to get it done, and it usually costs about... $100She told me to get that test done just so we could rule out thrombosis or something along those lines. I’m honestly not sure when I’ll actually get around to it—maybe later this week or sometime next week—but I’m really hoping the results come back okay. My head just won't stop throbbing, either; it’s been such a constant, nagging thing lately.😢
Oh, man, I’m really sorry about that headache you're dealing with right now, but honestly, I’m feeling pretty certain that everything is going to turn out just fine in the end. It reminds me of this time back in Seattle when I had a massive migraine during a long drive through the Cascades; I was so worried about making it to my destination on time, but once I finally settled in, the tension just melted away and things smoothed out perfectly. So, please don't let it get you down too much—just take it easy, and I'm sure you'll be feeling back to your usual self before you know it. 👍
Hang in there, everyone! Just stay the course for a little while longer. 😉
Yasmin $33, you’ve been carrying that recipe around with you for a whole year now, haven't you?
Keith Martinez58 said:Oh, I'm positive the pill has something to do with it... Obviously, I've had blood work done and I'm healthy (well, I was, unless the pill decided to mess with my internal wiring☕). Look, we aren't all built the same; what works for you might be absolute poison for me, for crying out loud🙂. I'm heading to her office tomorrow and I'm really hoping she'll just put me back on my old prescription. My heart stopped doing those weird little palpitations once I quit, but now I'm getting these random headaches here and there😕—and I almost never get headaches, seriously, they're super rare for me
.
Definitely. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow, and I'm feeling pretty optimistic that everything will work out okay.👍 Please, please let us know how it goes! 😉
So, you’ve got these 21 pills in a single pack—at least that’s how they work for Yasmin, anyway, since I haven't really messed around with other brands... and there isn't really a way to just take, say, 13 of them and then just stop mid-stream. I mean, I actually tried doing exactly that once, and a few days later my period showed up, which was way earlier than it was supposed to happen. It just goes to show that it's hormonal therapy after all, so when things like that happen, it's basically just the medication sending a little signal to your body. Anyway, I've officially stopped taking those pills for good now because I don't need them anymore... so I just finished off the very last pill, all 21 of them, and voilà. End of story.
I’m honestly having a hard time wrapping my head around your symptoms.... are you absolutely certain that Yasmin is actually the culprit here? And did you happen to run any tests before you started taking that specific medication? I was on Yasmin myself until just recently, and everything seemed perfectly fine on my end, though I made sure to stay on top of all my routine 🤷
Anyway, regardless of the cause, it’s definitely a smart move to go see a gynecologist
edit: and please, don't just stop taking them out of the blue, because you really don't want to throw your body for a loop; you should probably wait for your doctor to walk you through the best way to taper off...(I learned that lesson the hard way once myself)
I did quite a bit of digging through various searches online before I finally decided to start on Yasmin... and honestly, I have to say, my doctor seems incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely skilled, so I’m planning to stick with it as long as things continue to go this smoothly. Actually, I just started a brand new cycle today, and I'm really holding onto the hope that the positive effects will keep rolling in just like they have been.
Kyle Young3 said:I took Yasmin and it absolutely wrecked my system. My OBGYN kept insisting it couldn't be the pills because they're supposedly the "mildest" and "best" out there—yeah, right. It started with visible veins popping up on my legs, and then the side effects kicked in after a month or two of use. Every single day felt terrible, and it just kept getting worse. My digestive tract completely failed; I was running to the bathroom seven times a day and couldn't even grab a piece of toast without feeling faint. They still tried to tell me it wasn't the Yasmin. I ended up going through every medical test imaginable—gastroscopies, colonoscopies, spending a fortune on urgent exams just to find out the tablets were faulty. After taking them for six months, I quit. My body is still recovering, and unfortunately, I'm still dealing with gut issues to this day, though it's better than it was. I am never touching another birth control pill again!
Oh man... I don't even know what to say or think about that... For me, at least for now, things have actually improved compared to how they used to be. Before, I dealt with really intense pain, long-lasting PMS, and constant issues with acne and everything else, but now? Nothing. Just nothing.🤷
Is anyone else here maybe taking Yasmin? I just started on it about a month ago... and honestly, everything feels pretty great so far in almost every way... the only thing is I’ve started absolutely crushing 😬 lately, though I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world to put on a few pounds 😁 if it happened, but I'm really curious how much that actually has to do with this specific medication? From what I've gathered through my own little deep dives, these "new generation pills" aren't supposed to have any impact on weight at all...
