First off, I’m not a woman, even though I'm "hanging out" in a subforum meant strictly for them 🙂... Honestly, I just figured this was the best spot to drop this thread.
So, I'm posting this for my girlfriend (17.5) and myself... Like the title says, we're looking into contraception. I'm not gonna get all deep or invasive about our private life here, but basically, we need a specific method right now. Since she's slammed and can't make it to a doctor for maybe another 20 days, we need a temporary fix. Once she has the time, she'll go see a gynecologist and get the real deal pills. My question is: what are the most reliable birth control pills you can grab over the counter without a prescription? Just to be clear—this is strictly a short-term backup because we're in a bit of a crunch. Safety is everything here.
