Postpartum health issues and breastfeeding struggles in Women's Health ·
Hey ladies, I have a quick question for you all... did any of you deal with horrible nausea and headaches while riding in a car after giving birth? I get hit with these intense waves of nausea where I feel like I’m going to throw up, but it doesn't feel like typical motion sickness. It’s always accompanied by this crushing headache—almost like a migraine—right around my eyes and through the middle of my head. It usually happens when we're out on a longer drive; my husband is behind the wheel and I'm just sitting in the back with the little one... but I know it isn't because I'm riding in the rear. We even cleared out all the strong scents from the car, and we even tried switching to our other vehicle, but nothing seems to help.
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I'm looking for a solid endocrinologist specializing in thyroid issues here in Washington, D.C. I don't mind if it's a private practice or through my insurance, honestly—as long as they're a sharp diagnostician. Thanks so much!!!

Are you serious? They never even asked me. Not even when I went down to Florida for vacation and picked up two packs. I'm on Yasmin.

No, you can't. In my experience, when I get my prescription filled, they actually note down the exact date I picked them up every single month on the back. It’s quite thorough. Plus, once six months have passed, the pharmacist always makes sure to ask if I've had my blood work done recently—apparently, I should be getting those checked every six months just to stay on top of things.

It doesn't usually start the second you run out of pills; you typically see things start moving about 3 or 4 days later. It sounds perfectly normal to me. 😉
