Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion]
in Women's Health ·
Hey ladies! 👋
I didn't want to start another whole thread just for this, so hopefully it’s okay to ask here... I was on Yasmin for about two and a half years, and then I stopped three months ago. My first period after quitting came at the 35-day mark, which wasn't actually bad since my cycles were pretty irregular even while I was on the pill (they usually fluctuated between 24 and 34 days). But now, my second one is nowhere to be found. It's been 48 days already... has anyone else had a month where it just totally skipped?
Any advice on what I should do? Should I run to my OB-GYN right away or just wait it out?
BTW, there is zero chance I'm pregnant, so let's rule that out immediately. 🤣
I see Dr. Stephens mentioned here, and she's actually my doctor too. For the longest time, I honestly thought I was just overthinking things and that my body was fine, but seeing the comments here, it's clear I'm definitely not the only one feeling this way. 🙂
