I feel completely lost regarding this whole new system involving contraceptive pills. I stopped taking my Diane prescription back in month six, and now, here I am, dealing with incredibly heavy periods, my skin has taken a terrible turn for the worse, and I’m experiencing discharge almost every other day—sometimes even spotting. I suppose I really ought to call a gynecologist (would a private practice be okay?) to have them prescribe a new regimen. Is that even possible, considering I haven't even hit the six-month mark since stopping?
I'm curious about all the different reasons people take birth control pills.
For me, it's been years of taking them just to deal with irregular cycles, bloating, menstrual cramps, and heavy bleeding—not for contraception at all. My new gynecologist is trying to convince me that these aren't valid reasons to stay on Diane 35, even though I’m completely satisfied with them and they work perfectly for me. I have to say, I'm feeling pretty confused by the whole thing, especially since my primary care doctor can no longer write my prescription; now it has to be this gynecologist who just doesn't seem to get it...

🤣 I appreciate that kind of honest feedback. I completely understand where you're coming from.
Maybe you could just drop them off at the cobbler and let them sit on a shoe tree for a few days to stretch them out... I know from my own experience that it works......
