Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion]

Hey,
I have a question and I’m hoping someone here can help. I’m currently working abroad, away from the US, so I can't just drop in to see my gynecologist for advice. I've been on Yaz for three months now, but I can't find it anywhere here—though I can get Yasmin. I was wondering if anyone has actually made the switch from Yaz to Yasmin before?
I finished my last cycle after taking the third white pill, so I'm trying to figure out the timing. Do I need to finish all four white pills first and then start Yasmin, or should I just wait until my period starts and begin the new pack then? It doesn't really matter how many placebo pills I took, right?
