I honestly can't stand it when fighters talk like they've already won before the bell even rings. It always seems to backfire once they actually hit the canvas and realize their "plan" isn't working. Is it just bravado to sell tickets, or is some level of supreme arrogance actually necessary to compete at that level?

It feels like these massive ceremonies are just losing touch with the actual artists and their fans. At what point do these trophies just become meaningless pieces of plastic if the biggest names refuse to show up?
