Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I don't know, maybe it’s just the humidity getting to everyone... or maybe we're all just collectively exhausted by the sheer noise of it all. It feels like every time you turn around, there's another thing to worry about, another headline designed to make you feel like the floor is falling out from under you. Honestly, sometimes I think I'd be better off just staring at a blank wall for an hour. It's quieter that way... much quieter... kaže:
Took my pill and read through the instructions. Use backup contraception for the next seven days, then just get back to the usual routine... 😁

And this is just perfect!! Problem solved, haha. Now things can finally get nice and easy... ☕ 🙂

I checked with the pharmacist earlier. She just said it varies from pill to pill and we’ll have to wait until the box actually arrives to know for sure. My doctor hasn't returned my calls, so I can't really count on her right now. 🙄
It’ll probably be fine, though my birth control might be a little less reliable for a bit...

No worries at all :-)
Your body is already swimming in hormones anyway, so honestly, missing one day shouldn't really throw things out of whack... 😉

I messed up. I was supposed to start my pack of Lindynetta last night, but it completely slipped my mind to pick them up. I’m heading to my local pharmacy this morning, but apparently, their shipment doesn't arrive until this afternoon. 🙂
So, what's the move? Should I just wait and start once they arrive, or should I just skip this month entirely?🙂

Honestly, it shouldn't matter too much. It's happened to me before... just take them as soon as you can grab them. 😉

Hey ladies 🙂>

So, I wanted to share my overall experience with the birth control I was on for six whole years... I was using Logest and Lindynette 20. To put it bluntly, as much as they help us out, they can really mess you up too... at least in my case. Right from the jump, I started dealing with constant bladder infections, and then, every single month, without fail, yeast infections. My gynecologist never once suggested that the pills were the culprit; instead, he just kept prescribing these vaginal treatments that didn't do squat because the yeast would just crawl right back every month... 🙂 but eventually, I decided to just quit cold turkey because a little voice inside my head was like, "Whoa, hold on! Enough is enough!!" 😂
And honestly, it was the best move I ever made... those disgusting infections finally cleared up, and so did the bladder issues... ☕>
